Vonnie will be here in a few minutes to take your questions!

Buzzmaster
  (12:46 PM)

Vonnie's here!

Greg (Denver)

Has there been a QB that you were especially happy about sacking?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:46 PM)

John Elway. Steve Young. The guys that I grew up watching. Michael Vick, because he's so fast. I really enjoyed Phillip Rivers too, because he talked to much trash and he played for NC State.

Alan (DC)

What's the key to the Giants beating the 49ers?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:47 PM)

I think the Giants have to establish a running game.

Peter (RI)

What do you make of some of the Ravens defensive players calling out their own QB?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:47 PM)

I think it's warranted. Flacco has been hot and cold. When you have a defense the way they've played, they just want to see him play consistent.

Steve (Miami)

which game this weekend are you more excited to watch?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:47 PM)

The Giants-49ers. So evenly matched.

Greg (Boston)

Vonnie, we've heard all year how bad the Patriots' defense is, yet they're still playing....is it really that bad or have they been given a bad rap?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:48 PM)

No, I think they've been pretty bad. But Tom Brady is playing lights out. That's the difference. When you have a guy running the show like Tom Brady, you can have a bad defense. I don't know if it runs out this weekend.

Alan (Seattle)

What's the biggest part of rushing the passer?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:49 PM)

I think relentless effort. Understanding the situation of football, down and distance.

Kyle (Orlando)

Do you have a favorite sack that you've put on a QB?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:50 PM)

I hit Kyle Boller so hard, I seriously felt bad. You never feel bad hitting the QB, but I felt bad. There was a big picture in the newspaper of me trying to help him up, because I hit him so hard.

Peter (RI)

How did the lockout effect how you prepared for this season?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:51 PM)

I think it hurt a lot of teams, especially my team this year. We needed those OTAs and mini camps to gel. Learning the new defense. We took a lot of lumps early in the season because we didn't have them.

Frankie (New Orleans)

Alex Smith played the game of his life last weekend....do you think he can do it again?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:51 PM)

He has to show me. I don't know that he can put two games back to back like that. I think the old Alex Smith will resurface this week.

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

Any good memories from being on the Broncos?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:52 PM)

I love the Broncos. The fans were great. Playing at Mile High was unbelievable. Having the opportunity to play with Brian Dawkins is something I will cherish.

Kevin (VA)

Which team left do you think has the best defense?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:52 PM)

It's no doubt about it, San Francisco has the most complete defense overall.

Chris (DC)

Do you think Baltimore's defense is good enough and their offense solid enough to slow down the Patriots and outscore them?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:53 PM)

I don't think so. I think Tom Brady is playing at such a high level right now, he'll challenge that defense. Offensively, I don't think Flacco will do enough.

Chris (Denver)

When you first entered the league, did you think you'd still be playing 14 years later?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:54 PM)

When I first entered the league, I was just trying to make it through my first contract. I had no idea I'd still be playing after 14. I was trying to get to 10 after teh first five.

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

What do you think of Rookie of the Year Von Miller? Potential to be one of the best pass rushers in the league?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:54 PM)

He does. He is very fast off the edge and he's relentless.

Doug (Chicago)

How impressive has the pats offense been?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:55 PM)

Very impressive. I've seen them play against some good defenses. I was surprised that they were able to explode in the first half against the Broncos with 35 points.

Andrew (Florida)

Did you enjoy your time in Miami?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:56 PM)

I did. I enjoyed, if you can believe it or not, playing for Nick Saban, it was an experience. The playoff run at 11-5 in my last year there. It was a high point in my time there with a 1-15 season.

Ryan (LA)

The Ravens have had some injuries on defense, do you think they have enough healthy bodies to confuse the pats offense?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:57 PM)

I think Ed Reed and how he is able to move around this week will be big. But right now, it doesn't seem like it matters who is on the other side of the ball with Tom Brady and that offense.

how many more years do you have under your belt?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:57 PM)

I want to take two months and then decide. I'll know by March.

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

What was so amazing about playing with Brian Dawkins? His intensity?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:58 PM)

His intensity, but not only on the field but just his spiritual leadership and his intensity in everything that he does. His passion.

Will (LA)

what super bowl matchup do you want to see?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:58 PM)

I'd like to see the 49ers and the Patriots, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

Any plans for life after football?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:59 PM)

That's what brings me to ESPN today! Starting to explore the opportunities. And who knows, maybe even coach.

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:59 PM)

Do you have a job for me?

Scott (Northglenn, CO)

Who are your favorite pass rushers?

Vonnie Holliday
  (12:59 PM)

Charles Haley growing up. Of course watching Reggie White. Derrick Thomas.

Vonnie Holliday
  (1:00 PM)

Kevin Greene.
