Greetings. Ohm is having a technical diffulty and he'll be right here.
Hey guys, sorry, my brower wouldn't let me in but now I am in... let's go!
Hey Ohmie, I know you are busy with the family and the offseason of the nfl, I just wanted to remind you of the game tonight on espn between the sisters of the poor the little illini and BIG Blue!! Thanks Buddy!!! PS, I'm sorry about the way little sparkie chocked the other night !! I hope everything is fine......Thanks buddy!!!
Busy with family? I haven't even seen my family since last year because of the Giants. I just got back from the Combine. As for the Wolverines, I don't really care about them. I am focused on MSU making the best possible run through the tournament. That is all I care about at this time of the year. Thanks for the well-wishes!
Already reg. season Big Ten champions Petey.
What do you think of Moving the Opening Game at Met Life Stadium to Wednesday September 5,2012?
I don't really care if it is Wednesday or Thursday. What's the big deal? It's just one day earlier. What I care more about is now I got to move up my fantasy draft date, whenever that will be. Usually we sometimes do it on Tuesday or that Monday night.
Do you see the Giants trading Osi? If so what would the asking price look like? What teams would be interested?
Anything is possible. Perhaps they could get a third-round pick for him if they decide to go that route. My pure gut hunch is that they try to keep Osi and see if there is a way to give him an extension but I don't think Osi is going to get what he ultimately wants. But we'll have to see.
Still basking in the glow of another title and its not getting old anytime soon! My question is, money aside, could the Gmen put together a package of Ahmad and a first rounder or 2 to pry Ray Rice away from Baltimore and get him home?
John, love you man, but I don't see any way of that happening. Trades are a lot harder in the NFL. And besides, why would the Ravens trade Ray Rice and take back Ahmad, bad feet and all?
Have you heard any news on any giants players willing to restructure their deals to give the giants some cap space.
Brandon Jacobs said he was willing to do so if it is fair. I am sure they will be restructuring a few deals.
Any word on how the contract talks are going for TT
Not really. But TT was optimistic it will get done last time I talked to him.
Am I the Rex Ryan of baseball?
That would definitely be awesome. I so hope Bobby V brings back the mustache-eye glasses mask.
With the cap situation as is, Jacobs is obviously a goner. Do you see the GMEN moving Osi to clear more space and pick up more drafts picks?
Kind of answered this question earlier but hard to tell. We'll have to see how negotiations go between the two sides. But my guess is they keep Osi. As for Brandon, I wouldn't say he's a goner just yet. But if he is back, it will have to be at a much lower price than his current contract.
keep OSI, make him play out year, utilize the NASCAR one final time, he can't sit out he muststay healthy and have big yoer to reap the $$$$$$..........Giants don't have to up his pay or trade him...........good business deal heh?
Yeah, except Jake if Osi really really makes a stink. And he is capable of doing that.
Ohm! If you were in charge of the draft decision making, who would you select in the 1st round? For both the Giants and Jets. Also, where does your gut say Peyton will end up next year? Thanks again!
Hi Rachel... way too early to figure that out right now. But I agree with Jerry, best player available regardless of need or position. As for Peyton... I have no idea. Personally, I am rooting for Jets or Redskins. Jets because it would be so cool to have both Mannings here and Redskins because it would make those NFC East games all the more exciting.
What College Football Player do you think will be a Perfect fit for the Giants in the 1st Round of the 2012 NFL Draft?
Again, way too early for us to figure that out. So much changes between now and late April.
Any chance of Plaxico coming back to NYG?
Doubtful. I think he has has mind set on Philadelphia. I heard last year that Philly was the place he wanted to be.
While most "experts" think we still need to add a backer I'm sold on the group we have. Boley is a leader, kiwi is interchangeable and the young guys all have major upside. I'm more concerned with the o-line and the cb's. Any chance we take a lineman or corner with pick 32?
Definitely possible. I think they do need an OL or CB and a returner. TE they can fill later in the draft or through free agency.
Any other player besides Jacobs that have a good chance to be released?
I am sure there are others. Hard to say at this point. They got to figure out what happens with Jacobs first probably. They have 21 unrestricted free agents so a lot of those guys may not be back.
Any chance that Steve Smith returns if Manningham leaves?
I would not discount a Steve Smith reunion at all.
Any word on how Marvin Austin is recovering?
Yes, Marvin says he has begun lifting weights and should be ready for OTAs.
OK guys, thanks for the questions! Sorry for the brief delay. Talk to you guys next week!
