Hey guys, I know everyone is amped up for the start of spring practice for the University of Georgia. With that in mind, I am here to take on any questions you might have that pertain to UGA recruiting. I will try to answer as many as I can today. As always you can also reach me at kippadamsespn@gmail.com, on twitter at @KippLAdams and on the DawgNation message board, The Pound. Let's begin.

David (East campus village)

What is the latest on Vonn Bell?

Kipp Adams
  (1:04 PM)

Bell is still picking up a couple offers a week, and the Ridgeland (Ga.) defensive back has emerged as one of, if not the top safety in the country for 2013. He has yet to visit Georgia, but hopes to make a trip over to see practice soon. The Bulldogs did well to offer the Under Armour All-American first, but they will need to get him on campus soon to make a good impression on Bell.

Kipp, Many of the recent blogs that have been put out are saying that players are planning to decide before their senior season so they can focus. With this being said who could you see giving UGA the commit before football starts next fall?

Kipp Adams
  (1:07 PM)

Well based on my story last week, I would have to see offensive lineman Devondre Seymour (Suwanee, Ga./North Gwinnett) would be my guess as he said he is thinking about committing this week. He may or may not go through with that, but clearly Georgia is in good shape with him. Others to keep an eye on include OL Josh Cardiello (Buford, Ga.), OL Brandon Kublanow (Walton, Ga.), CB J.J. Green (Camden Co., Ga.), LB Johnny O'Neal (West Laurens, Ga.) and Naim Mustafaa (Norcross, Ga.).

Dust (Atlanta)

Kipp, how do you feel about the chances with Nkemdiche now that he is looking to commit in May? Always thought that the longer this one dragged out, the better our chances would be.

Kipp Adams
  (1:09 PM)

Have to say I agree with you on that one. I felt Georgia was giving Robert more to think about, but nothing has happened yet to really give them an edge over Alabama. IF he decides in May, all signs point to Nkemdiche joining the Tide. But anything can happen over the next two months, so expect it to heat up as his decision date approaches.

Grant (Athens)

I know this is basketball, but do you have any insight on Tony Parker and whether UGA has a shot with him?

Kipp Adams
  (1:24 PM)

I think UGA has a shot because they have sold him on being a huge impact on a local team moving in the right direction, as well as having a chance to play with two Miller Grove teammates in Brandon Morris and Donte Williams that he has won championships with and with whom he already has a high level of comfort playing with. That being said, I would give the edge to Kansas, Duke and maybe even UCLA for Parker. UGA should be considered the darkhorse at this point, and when looking at the other teams he is considering like Memphis and Duke, that is impressive.

Nick (Hoschton)

Kipp, are we still sitting pretty with Langley and when do you expect him to pull the trigger?

Kipp Adams
  (1:27 PM)

The battle for Brendan Langley (Marietta, Ga./Kell) continues to intensify, with Georgia and Alabama running neck and neck, and teams like Florida and Tennessee fighting to stay in it with new offers coming in on a weekly basis.I feel UGA has let him know he will play early and often in Athens, but Kirby Smart has also done a great job building a relationship with Langley. Right now it is too close to call as far as which team he is favoring. I think he could decide over the summer.

kevin (garden city)

if RN goes to UA what will affect if any will it have on Reuben Foster? I know Foster has been recruiting RN to UA, but i feel it will be harder to pull him away from UA to join Matthews in Athens.

Kipp Adams
  (1:30 PM)

None. The two rarely talk to my knowledge.I think Reuben knows he will play with great players regardless of where he signs. His final decision all boils down to what he feels is best for him and his family

Alan (Macon)

How do you think we stand with our ILB prospects as of now, i know that we are in pretty good shape with O'Neal but do you know anything about the others?

Kipp Adams
  (1:33 PM)

I think Georgia has positioned itself well to bring in 3-4 highly talented inside linebackers. Johnny O'Neal, Ben Boulware (T.L. Hanna, S.C.), Reggie Carter (South Gwinnett, Ga.) and Reueben Foster (Troup Co. Ga.) are all high on the Bulldogs right now, and they will likely target a few more to fill their needs for 2013.

Andrew (UGA)

With UGA and UA having their spring games on the same day, do you think we will miss out on getting alot of top talent of instate guys to our game.

Kipp Adams
  (1:35 PM)

I am sure some prospects will have to make a difficult decision on which college to visit that day, but they are often faced with that decision each weekend as schools battle it out to get prospects on campus for junior days. No reason for any college, UA and UGA included, to worry about what others are doing the same day. You have to work hard to bring in the best talent possible regardless of the situation.

Richard (SAV)

Do u think UGA should offer Kamara to help try an get Nkemdiche? I no CTG prob wont but why not to try and land the #1 player in the country

Kipp Adams
  (1:37 PM)

I do not see Grayson DB David Kamara getting an offer from UGA without coming in for one of their summer camps to let Grantham and Lakatos work him out to see what he can do. I

alex (Camden)

what is the hold up on not offering Niegel Bowden? spelling is prob off

Kipp Adams
  (1:38 PM)

Last I heard Nigel Bowden was coming off a knee injury, so depending on the severity of that they might want to wait and see how he looks in the spring.

Tra (Athens)

what are our chances of getting Rueben & Robert

Kipp Adams
  (1:39 PM)

I would say right now UGA has a much better chance to get Reuben Foster than Robert Nkemdiche, which is rare since Reuben is currently committed to Alabama. But Foster has shown much more interest in the Bulldogs over the last year than Nkemdiche has, and he seems to really be taking a long look at Georgia right now.

DenverDawg (Denver)

does UGA have aany shot with Kylie Fitts or Eddie VAnderdoes? YOu think either one leaves the west coast

Kipp Adams
  (1:46 PM)

To give an honest answer, no I do not see either of them leaving the West Coast as of NOW. Both sounded excited about the offer and intrigued by defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, but until they actually set foot on campus to visit, the Bulldogs have a tough fight to bring in both California standouts. But Bulldog fans have to love the aggressiveness by Granthan, Richt and Garner in trying to recruit on a national level for the defense. It will pay off at some point, maybe this year.

Joseph (Tennessee)

Jow many DBs do we finish with in this class do you think? Also what is going on with the rb position for us?

Kipp Adams
  (1:49 PM)

Georgia needs at least five defensive backs in the 2013 class, and possibly six to have the kind of depth they want in the secondary next year.Right now Georgia has one outstanding running back in Derrick Henry (Yulee, Fla.) and the staff is hoping to bring in one more in Alvin Kamara (Norcross, Ga.). Both are elite athletes that would compliment each other very well, so the Bulldogs have a chance to hit another home run for running back recruiting.

Bobby (Gainesville)

How much do you like Riles? I have seen where some say he is very raw right now, i know he isnt Nkemdiche but they are the same size just not nearly as developed.

Kipp Adams
  (1:52 PM)

I love Riles based on his verified size and strength. He is a LEGIT 6-4, 270-pounds right now, and although he is very raw, he has the physical traits that college coaches want to work with.He would have a chance to come in and make an impact as a 3-4 defensive end if he went to Georgia, but if that did not work out, he offers the versatility to possibly play guard on the offensive line as well.

Kipp (Idaho)

What Florida WR does UGA have best chance of landing?

Kipp Adams
  (1:53 PM)

I answered this in my mailbag last week, but as of now I think Alvin Bailey from Armwood is one to keep an eye on as far as wideouts from the Sunshine State.

Adam (watkinsville)

How are we doing right now at TE recruiting? HOw many do you think we will bring in the cycle?

Kipp Adams
  (1:57 PM)

Georgia has extended offers to national recruits like Hunter Henry, Standish Dobard and Josh McNeil. Dobard and McNeil are impressed with how much the TE is used in the Georgia offense, and I feel Georgia is in great shape with Henry, a Georgia native. I expect them to try and bring in one elite TE in this class as of now.

Vince (S)

I know B. Kublanow likes UGA and seemed to be the frontrunner for a while but where does it appear he stands at the moment?

Kipp Adams
  (2:01 PM)

While Brandon Kublanow has opened things up a bit since naming Georgia his dream offer last fall, the Bulldogs should still be considered frontrunners in my opinion for the physical interior offensive lineman. He will visit Georgia at the end of the month, so that is one to keep an eye on.

Eric (Gwinnett)

Who are our biggest targets at wide receiver and how many are we planning on taking in this class?

Kipp Adams
  (2:03 PM)

Honestly I think Tramel Terry might have been the biggest target at wide receiver, but Marquez North from Mallard Creek should be considered right there as well. North is a big downhill target that fits the mold of what Georgia has had a lot of success with over the last decade.I think Georgia would like to bring in 3-4 wideouts in the 2013 class.

Matt (Charlotte)

Will UGA raid the state of North Carolina again for top prospects?? If so who are they likely to get?

Kipp Adams
  (2:05 PM)

Too early to tell yet which Tarheel State prospects will consider the Bulldogs, but as I said above, Marquez North would be a huge get for UGA.Remember last year Todd Gurley did not emerge as a UGA target until May.

Joe (Georgia)

It may be early but do you think we have the best shot with 2014 WR Demarre Kitt? I know he recently got an offer from UF and has put them in his top 3 already. Also do you see him as the top WR in Georgia next year?

Kipp Adams
  (2:10 PM)

It is early, so I do not think anyone has the best shot for Kitt yet. I think he likes the UGA offense more, but has really liked Clemson as well, plus Florida really impressed him over the weekend. Long way to go for the sophomore WR.Kitt is a solid wide receiver, but naming him the top WR in Georgia, when only 30-40 of the 175+ D1 prospects have emerged so far would be premature. I really like Krenwick Height out of Wayne Co.too and I would like to see him in person as well.

Lee (KY)

Is it fair to say that Derrick Henry has a Tebow-like obsession with proving that he is a RB instead of what his body and skill set is growing him into?

Kipp Adams
  (2:13 PM)

Although the ones who make it at his size are often the exception and not the rule, I think Henry has earned the right to have a chance to play running back at the next level. If Georgia gets a Tim Tebow-like career from Henry at running back in college, you have to think they would be ecstatic.
