Miles is here!

Will (St. Louis)

How does Robinson handle Sullinger?

Miles Simon
  (3:20 PM)

I think he'll be fine. Robinson isn't a great defender, but he's physical enough to play against Sullinger. You'll see him do a lot of 3/4 defense and force him off the block.

Howie (NYC)

With so much talent on that 97 Arizona team, how hard was it to keep everyone happy with shots? I think Kentucky is dealing with the same thing this year.

Miles Simon
  (3:21 PM)

Our team had no egos. No one cared about how many shots they took. Really, the only thing anyone cared about was the end result. That's truly an honest statement.

Peter (Orlando)

Miles, what are the players on these teams thinking about as they head into their Final Four weekend?

Miles Simon
  (3:22 PM)

I hope that they're just trying to enjoy the moment as much as possible. It's truly a great experience to play for the Final Four and be two games away from the title. They're probably trying to finalize tickets for family and friends. They're getting focused on the gameplan and focus on the ultimate goal of winning the title.

Mark (Chicago)

Can Illinois contend and win a championship in a few years if they get top recruits?

Miles Simon
  (3:24 PM)

Probably a few years ago, it would be easier to steal one of these hot midmajor coaches. Now you see that those so called mid major schools are ponying up the money and they're more comfortable. Illinois can contend for a title. It was only a few years ago that they were playing for one. Of course I think they can contend for a title.

idk (somewhere)

Who do the Kentucky pro prospects most compare to

Miles Simon
  (3:26 PM)

For me, I'm not a great comparison guy, so I can't think of a lot of NBA players off the top of my head for comparison. The comparison that Calipari makes for Anthony Davis is Marcus Camby. He is an elite defender. Jones will be a first round draft pick. Kidd-Gilchrist has a high motor, great energy at all times. He'll need to get better at shooting the basketball. Teague will play in the NBA, but I'm not sure if it's next year or if he'll stay.

Greg (DC)

How crazy is it that Davis grew so much...how much does he have to learn?

Miles Simon
  (3:27 PM)

Yeah, that is crazy, but what a great advantage for him in his skill level at 6-10 he's a good ball handler that he could work on those skills. His ceiling is probably an NBA all-star in probably three years in the league. Earlier this year, he wasn't an option and now he's hitting 3 point shots, he's hitting 17-18 foot jumpers.

Ryan (Denver)

how do you see the Kansas-OSU matchup working out?

Miles Simon
  (3:28 PM)

If I'm predicting a winner, I think Kansas will win the game. The matchup of Taylor and Craft is the one to watch. Taylor has really only had one good game in the tournament. He's only hit one three. He'll have to break out for Kansas to win. Robinson is a double double waiting to happen.

Mark (Chicago)

Is Kentucky the outright national champion this year or could another team steal it out from under them?

Miles Simon
  (3:29 PM)

One thing about the NCAA tournament, anybody can win. Kentucky is definitely the favorite. Probalby the heavy favorite, but in a one-game scenario, anything can happen. They're an ankle turn away from something happening. Louisville can win. And Kansas and OSU are good opponents.

Kevin (CT)

How was the Googleplus chat? Have fun?

Miles Simon
  (3:30 PM)

It was a lot of fun. You should join us next time. The next one is Monday. Gottlieb is doing one at 2 pm ET. We'd love to have more participants.

Will (Miami)

After all of those upsets last year, has this year's tournament kind of gone back to "normal" with all of the powerhouses in the Final Four?

Miles Simon
  (3:31 PM)

When I was looking at doing my bracket when they came out, I believed that it was going to be a lot of high seeds in the Elite 8 and Final Four. If you looked at the rankings during the season, the same 10 teams were pretty much in there all year. They fluctuated between No. 1 and 8 and that's how it played out.

Greg (Denver)

How much do you still stay in contact with your old teammates?

Miles Simon
  (3:32 PM)

Quite a bit actually. It's different, through the phone, Twitter, texts. Some live in Tucson and when I'm back, I get in touch. I talked with Josh Pastner this morning. Terry and Bibby are still playing in the NBA and I'll talk to them and see them in the summer.

Peter (Chicago)

Do you think the PG matchup between Craft and Taylor will be good?

Miles Simon
  (3:32 PM)

It's going to be great. I think that's the key matchup to watch for in that game. What cn Taylor do offensively against Craft. He's a good on ball defender. And using high ball screen is something Taylor does well.

greg (dc)

game of guards?

Miles Simon
  (3:34 PM)

In the NCAA tournament you need great guard play, but look at the first team all-American team this year, there is not one guard.

Alan (dc)

Game you're looking forward to the most?

Miles Simon
  (3:35 PM)

The Kansas-OSU game. Two really evenly matched teams, with some very interesting individual matchups, such as Taylor and Craft, SullingerRobinson.

Miles Simon
  (3:35 PM)

Enjoy the weekend. It should be an unbelievable Final Four. Thanks for all of your questions and enjoying me in the chat.
