Ice Cube is here!

James (Rochester, NY)

What do you enjoy most at a Raiders game?

Ice Cube
  (1:34 PM)

The atmosphere. The fans.

Ice Cube
  (1:35 PM)

Plus they give me all-access.

Chris (FL)

What do you think of the talent level in this MC contest?

Ice Cube
  (1:35 PM)

The talent level, from what I've seen is a B+. But they might bring it tomorrow night at the finale. We're in New York. They're going to have to bring it.

Dre (AZ)

Huge fan since back in the day. I know it's a football chat but I got to ask - What's your thoughts about the Lakers acquiring Steve Nash? And do you think LA needs to go through with the Bynum/Howard trade if that's what both sides agree to? Keep up the great work!

Ice Cube
  (1:36 PM)

We needed Steve Nash. We finally got a PG that can actually play the position. Taking nothing from Derek Fisher, he's a great point guard too, but Steve Nash is one of the cream of the crops.

Ice Cube
  (1:36 PM)

Only if Dwight wants to be a part of the Lakers' legacy. If not, we should stick with what we got.

R u ever ever goin 2 do a last friday with chris tucker?

Ice Cube
  (1:37 PM)

Oh yeah, we're working on it now. We're still trying to get the script tight. It's a process. Hopefully we'll be getting it done soon and it will be out next year.

Eric (Dallas)

What has it been like working on this MC project?

Ice Cube
  (1:38 PM)

Just through my promotions with Coors Light, I got involved. It's been interesting. We've been to four cities with the contest, some of the MCs are good and great and some of them are whack. It's been interesting.

Kevin (Reno, NV)

What artists would like to work with that you haven't been able to thus far in your career?

Ice Cube
  (1:39 PM)

Oh man...who wouldn't want to work with someone like Quincy Jones? Prince. I'm a fan of Prince. I think he's the best. Musician. Singer. It's a short list.

Nick (NY, NY)

From the song, "Wicked," I've always wondered -- what, exactly, was your plan to break Tyson out of prison?

Ice Cube
  (1:40 PM)

Two sticks of dynamite and some cow ears for him to nibble on.

Tony (Richmond, CA)

Do you think the Laker players respect Mike Brown? Will he able to lead them to a title?

Ice Cube
  (1:41 PM)

I'm not sure. I'm not sure if they respect him or not. He's only had one year with no training camp. I still think the verdict is out on that. I think they played hard for him at times, but not at all times.

Don (South Bend)

How do you think ex-Raider Michael Bush will fit in with the Chicago Bears? As a Bears fan I was just as excited by his signing as Brandon Marshall.

Ice Cube
  (1:41 PM)

Great! The Raiders shouldn't have gotten rid of him. It was sad to see him go. The dude is just a good solid back. The Raiders need that. We don't have it now. It sucks.

James (IL)

Hey Ice Cube! Just saw you on First Take, and I was wondering that if the Raiders had the same pieces as last year (they did lose Kamerion Wimbley, Stanford Routt, and Michael Bush) would they get to the playoffs as Carson Palmer said?

Ice Cube
  (1:42 PM)

I think so. I think they should have given Hue Jackson another year. We're back to square one, all of the progress we made over the last year or two and we're back. It's sad. It's sad but I'm still going to watch.

Jeff (Clearwater)

What artists that you enjoy may surprise some people?

Ice Cube
  (1:43 PM)

Not really. Not really. I enjoy a lot of people that are good, but I don't think there are any surprising.

brandon birdsboro pa [via mobile]

Ice cube who was your favorite rapper when growing up?

Ice Cube
  (1:43 PM)

Growing up, my favorite, it started off with Run from Run DMC, then it moved on and it finally landed on Chuck D.

Kevin (OC)

Of all your great albums, which is your favorite? I gotta go Predator!

Ice Cube
  (1:44 PM)

America's Most Wanted because it was the first solo album. I felt like my back was against the wall and I came out swinging. That's a sentimental favorite.

JR(MP TX) [via mobile]

Whats up with rap game these days. Are there any more hip hop legends in the game today. To Hollywood?

Ice Cube
  (1:46 PM)

The rap game is a little stagnant. To me there is always potential for great artists to come up. But music is on a downward swing, as far as sales and promotion of it. Rap basically is caught up in the same downward spiral. BUT, hip hop is back in the hands of the underground, which is a beautiful thing. It's all about building it back up.

Mike (DC)

what are you expecting tomorow night?

Ice Cube
  (1:47 PM)

I expect nerves to get to some of these guys, just because we're in New York. I expect the winner will outshine them all. I think it's going to be a thing where you'll have people with a lot of confidence versus people who are unsure. That will weed out people in the beginning. Then, we'll see.

Kevin (Reno, NV)

Better Raider Moment, Bo Jackson running over Bosworth, or Marcus Allen Super Bowl run?

Ice Cube
  (1:47 PM)

Marcus Allen's Super Bowl run.

Ice Cube
  (1:47 PM)

There is no comparison.

Don (Berkeley, CA)

Who has more rings ten years from now, Durant or Lebron?

Ice Cube
  (1:48 PM)

I think LeBron will have more then Durant. Durant has to develop what LeBron developed this year, which was the killer instinct.

Ice Cube
  (1:49 PM)

Thanks for supporting me for all of these years, I really appreciate it. I'm going to definitely keep working hard. Check out the Coors Light finale July 26 at SearchForTheColdest.com.
