Good Morning Everyone! I will be here until the kickoff of the early games taking your football questions.
Ryan Matthews or MJD? I am asking this because MJD is going up against a tough run defense while Matthews gets an easy Saints defense.
If there were not so many questions about Mathews I could go with Mathews but we do not even know if Mathews will start. MJD is a stud and has produced against tough D's before. Start MJD over Mathews.
Maclin or Hixon?
Hixon, Maclin has not looked all that good so far this season and is facing a Steelers D that is tough against opposing WR.
Hey guys, in a 14 team PPR league, and having trouble deciding on a starting line-up with my RB's. I have Ray Rice, Ridley, Morris, BJGE, and Ingram. Definitely starting Rice, but trying to figure out who should be #2 and Flex. At WR I have Floyd and Lloyd starting, with no one really to fill in the Flex spot as a WR as they are on Bye weeks, and Knicks is out again. I'm sure I won't start Ingram, so it's down to BJGE, Ridley and Morris. Who do you think should start? Thanks guys!
The #2 RB slot is pretty easy. Morris is playing well and the Falcons rushing D is not great. The last spot is tougher. Both Ridley and Green-Ellis face tough D's. I give the edge to Green-Ellis since he is likely to get more touches.
Jerome Simpson or James Jones for week 5?
Another tough one. Jones seems to have a knack for not producing when everyone thinks he will have a good game, and this is one of those weeks. I would start Simpson over Jones.

I would have to go with Cobb after how bad the Jets offense looked last week.
Harvin, Mike Wallace, and Julio. Choose 2 to start
Great WR. Sit Wallace, he has the toughest match up of the three this week.
need one out of three...one point for every three catches, Dennis Pitta, greg Olsen or Fred Davis
I know it is tough to start Pitta after last week but I would start Pitta. I just think he has the best game of those three.

I don't suppose the Vikings D is available? If I had to chose one of those I would go with the Patriots.
Forte or jones from Green Bay in PPR?
Forte looked pretty good last week and has a nice match up. Start Forte over Jones.
brandon lafell or andrew hawkins
I want to say LaFell but he has been (le) bust the last two weeks. Start Hawkins.
Ahmad Bradshaw or Alfred Morris as RB2?
Both are good options. I give the edge to Morris because he has no health concerns.
Newton or Dalton? Dalton is on a hot streak, but Cam had a 30 point game last week. Thanks!
Dalton is the safe play for sure. Newton's match up looks bad but Seattle is on the road. I would start Newton, I am willing to take the risk for the extra upside.
Wright. Greene is -- to put it politically correctly -- performance challenged. The Steelers are tough against opposing TE.
cj spiller or deangelo williams i have them in two leagues ones a 1 point per reception and one is a one point for every three catches
Spiller is still dealing with the shoulder issue and facing a tough D this week. Start Williams.
C.Benson or R.Wayne in non-ppr?
When in doubt I go with the touches/RB. Start Benson, the Colts rushing D is nothing special.

Happy to help! That is a tough call. KC has major issues against the run while the Patriots do not. For that reason, I would start Decker over Smith this week.
Is Mercedes a good bet to score against a Chicago D that can't cover the TE?
Good bet? Chicago has allowed 2 TD to TE this season. I think that Lewis is about a 50/50 shot for a TD, I don't consider 50/50 to be a good bet.

Go with Nelson over Hartline.
not sure between finley or chandler? finley has a tough matchup, chandler is ranked below finley
Finley also has not been very good this season. The 49ers struggle against the pass in the red zone for some reason and Chandler is a very good red zone receiver. Start Chandler over Finley

I like both offers for you. Getting MJD would be great but so would getting Gronkowski and you don't have to take on the riskier QB. Make the trade for Forte and Gronkowski.

Rivers certainly has the better match up. But, I could not sit RG3 this week unless my other choice was Rodgers. Start RG3.

Start Davis. The Browns have been tough against opposing TE this season having only allowed 13 receptions for 140 yards to TE this season.

I have Welker in a PPR league and a little concerned about his production earlier this year. Would you try to sell high after this week assuming Hernandez is back to near 100% next week? If so, would RB1 be reasonable to ask for?
It is always tough to judge trade value since every league is its own market. I also think selling high on Welker is going to be tough with everyone thinking Hernandez coming back will kill Welker's trade value. You are not going to get a top-5 RB for Welker no matter what. If you can get a top-10 RB for him in a PPR league then trade him, but I don't think you will be able to.
Should i start Drew Brees or Peyton Manning?
Start Brees over either Manning this week.
would you drop SJackson for H nicks? its 8 team league stanard scoring.
Wow. The issue with Nicks is we do not know how much time he will miss. If I was stacked at RB and needed a WR I would make the move. Jackson would be a decent RB but Nicks is an elite WR when healthy.

The Vikings are a nice play this week but if you drafted/own the 49ers D you play them over the Vikings.

Never thought I would have to consider this - Non PPR league; starting Colston, but need to choose between Hartline and A. Johnson. ESPN's projections have Brian over Andre, but the rankings have Andre as the play. Will he be good to go Monday night?
It wold be very tough to sit Johnson for Hartline but I would. Houston throws less than any other team and the Jets pass D is better than their rushing D.
is donald brown of BJGE getting to risky this week? miami allowing 28 yards to rushers inside the numbers so far and went up agansit foster/mcfadden.
The Dolphins rushing D is tough but in terms of fantasy points allowed, the Dolphins allow only 2 fewer per game to TB than the Packers do. I would start Green-Ellis over Brown. I doubt that the Bengals end up down big and forced to throw, I could see that easily happening to the Colts this week.
who is the better flex play? Brian Hartline, Nate Washington, or Mario Manningham
Hartline is and is is not very close.

MJD over Turner in either a PPR or standard league.
With HOU facing the weak Jets run D, is Vick a better play than Schaub this week?
I would start Vick. The Steelers have allowed more fantasy points to QB than the Jets have and I think that Vick can give the Steelers D fits as a runner.
McGahee or Morris?
Start Morris, New England has been tough to run on this season, Atlanta not so much.
Will Flynn replace Wilson in Seattle and is he worth a waiver, thanks
As long as Seattle keeps winning Wilson will start. Unless you are in a really deep league, you should just avoid the Seattle QB's. IN like a 16-team-league I would grab Flynn as a back up if he replaced Wilson.
I traded MJD for Jordy Nelson because I have Rodgers as my #1 QB the hookup we call it...instead of six you net 12 at least...Did I make out or get duped?
You made a bad trade, MJD is worth more than Nelson. Yes, you will get 12 point for a TD when Rodgers throws a TD to Nelson -- if you get 6 points for TD passes rather than 4. But, there is no multiplier effect on points. Nelson will score how many fantasy points he scores, as will Rodgers and MJD. There are no extra points. MJD will outscore Nelson for the season, you should have kept MJD.
I have M. Turner, T. smith, M. Colston, M. Wallace. I can start 2WR+ Flex. Who do i sit?
Sit Turner, Washington has been good against the run this season and Turner has not looked great -- last week notwithstanding.

The Vikings rushing D has been great and Johnson looked horrible before last week. I would start Brown over Johnson this week.

I would be buying for that price. I do not like selling low. I never had McFadden as an elite RB but he is going to be a top-10 fantasy RB for the season.

Rodgers is not a bad player to own but this week Hunter is a better option and dropping Rodgers is not a move that will cripple your team or anything. Drop Rodgers for and start Hunter this week.

No, you should not. The downgrade at WR will be greater than what you will be gaining at RB in a PPR league.

The week you sit Jones is the week he will go off -- and the Redskins secondary is bad. Smith is the guy I would bench this week.

I am not sure that you could get much in trade for any of them. I like Witten the most. I would try to trade Finley because I think he can get you more than Celek.

McCoy will be the #3 RB this season. Spiller is a tougher call because Fred Jackson is around. He will be a top-20 RB but I don't think he will quite crack the top-10 rest of the way.

You start Chandler because the Browns have been very tough against opposing TE this season.

The Jets offense is pretty scary. I know I would not drop Brown for Kerley. Cobb is a closer call but I would not yet. If Cobb has another unproductive game this week I would drop Cobb for Kerley though.

I have graham and Rudolph at TE. What trade value can I get for Rudolph after Graham's bye?
There is no way to know any player's trade value. You are going to have to make offers and see what works. you are not getting anyone great for Rudolph alone. Your best move is to package Rudolph with a player at another position for an upgrade at the other position. Something like Rudolph and Steve Smith to a team hurting for a TE for a WR like Wallace or Thomas.

The issue with Tamme is the targets and the fact that the Broncos use their other TE a good deal. Start Daniels over Tamme.

That is tough since none of them has a good match up this week. I would go with McGahee for the touches and Jackson because he does not have a foot issue like Jackson does.

I am thinking that would be a mistake. The Steelers D is good -- but only average against RB in terms of fantasy points allowed -- but McFadden had a very good game against them and McCoy is better than McFadden. Start McFadden over Morris.

You keep Foster and Lynch. Leshoure for either QB would be great but not likely. I would trade any of the other three RB for Stafford, I would not trade Sproles for Flacco but would trade Bradshaw for him.
