Chat with Dan Graziano

Dan Graziano
  (12:00 PM)

Hi. Good to see everyone. How was the weekend? What's on your minds?

Person (DC)

Gut feeling, starting QB for Washington vs. Minnesota?

Dan Graziano
  (12:00 PM)

My gut says Griffin will be fine to go, but we won't know until we see whether he practices in the coming days.

Finn (Arlington, VA)

If RG3 is out with concussion symptoms this week, who is the better play for the Redskins, Cousins or Grossman? I'd go with Grossman, no matter how upset he's made us Skins fans in the past...

Dan Graziano
  (12:01 PM)

I think I agree with you. Scale it all back, run the offense like last year, lean on the run game, hope Grossman doesn't throw too many picks and get Griffin back healthy next week.

Ryan (NYC)

Is this the week David Wilson get the trust and unleashed? He looked lightning fast and the Giants will need any speed on offense they can get.

Dan Graziano
  (12:02 PM)

The guy in front of him on the depth chart just had a 200-yard game. I doubt there are serious changes coming. They have plays for Wilson and likely will have more as he continues to develop. But neither is likely to run much against the 49ers, because no one does.

Person (Place)

Thing

Dan Graziano
  (12:03 PM)

Really? Nothing else to do?

Worried Eagles fan (Canada)

Why is our line not getting sacks? Is it that they are underachieving or is it the play calling from opposing teams are taking them out of the game?

Dan Graziano
  (12:04 PM)

The two QBs they've played the past two weeks and very hard to sack, and for different reasons. Manning releases the ball too quickly and Roethlisberger avoids the rush well. They'll be fine.

Kevin (Maryland)

Dan, Any news on Hakeem Nicks? is it possible that he will be in the game this sunday?

Dan Graziano
  (12:04 PM)

It is possible, but there has been no news of improvement that I have seen.

Greg (TN)

I know the Redskins are down several starters, but they still have Jenkins, Bowen, Coefield, Kerrigan, Riley, and Fletcher. Why are they not getting enough pressure on the QB?

Dan Graziano
  (12:05 PM)

They seemed to be devoting more energy to coverage Sunday. They have problems there, and it's possible they're overcompensating at the expense of the pass rush.

Josh (Missoula)

Shouldn't the blame for Vick's redzone fumble Sunday fall on Marty Mornhinweg? First and goal on the 3 yard line and you don't hand it off to McCoy?

Dan Graziano
  (12:06 PM)

Nah, I think the fumble is generally the fault of the person who actually drops the ball. I did have an idea for an "Onion" headline yesterday. "BREAKING: Every goal line play that doesn't work is obviously a stupid call."

Fred (Wash, DC)

Is this another 19 sack performance from D. Ware while the rest of the team lends little or no help? appears that way thus far.

Dan Graziano
  (12:07 PM)

Possible, but getting Ratliff back this week could help. I think Spencer has played well on the other side. Sacks just aren't his game, I don't think.

Danny (FL)

Does Eli deserve to be in the MVP discussion both due to his play and his ability to continuelly elevate replacements, game after game...year after year? I think so...

Dan Graziano
  (12:07 PM)

I do too, and I believe he is. But they'll have to do better than winning 3 out of every 5 games in order to make him a real candidate. Just the way it works.

Marc (Malden, MA)

The last two weeks, the Redskins defense played well in the first 2-3 quarters, but was horrible in the 4th. Why? Are they really that tired? Maybe they should spend all week running sprints.

Dan Graziano
  (12:08 PM)

Well, that could be one manifestation of the lack of depth due to the key injuries to starters, sure.

Tim (Columbia, MD)

I felt that the Redskins were on their way to beating the Falcons before Griffin III was injured. Think they could have pulled it off if he stayed in?

Dan Graziano
  (12:09 PM)

Sure, that game was totally up for grabs, and the Redskins should be proud of the way they played. Falcons are no joke.

Andy (DC)

Do you find any of Alfred Morris's success being a result of the threat of RG3 running? If RG3 is out, should we expect an exceptional drop off in Morris's production, especially against a solid vikings d?

Dan Graziano
  (12:10 PM)

Yes, I think that's an astute observation. If Griffin is out, defenses will have a much easier time playing against the Redskins and especially against Morris, who has been solid but not spectacular.

Patrick (Houston)

Everyone always complains that the Cowboys have no home-field advantage..do you think the Cowboys would ever consider any innovative adjustments to the stadium to increase crowd noise?

Dan Graziano
  (12:11 PM)

No, I think Jerry Jones is extremely proud of his stadium and likes it fine the way it is. Cowboys' home field advantage will improve once they become a better team. Funny how that works.

Gary (New York City)

Dan, Alex Smith is the NFL's leading passer through 5 weeks (still sounds weird to type). How can the Giants D slow down the 49ers offense?

Dan Graziano
  (12:11 PM)

Got to stop the run first if you want to stop the Niners.

Chuck (NC)

Why is your name always on the comments for the NFC North teams in the power rankings? Seifert too lazy?

Dan Graziano
  (12:12 PM)

Seifert is an animal. You can't do this job we do if you're lazy. But he's not a voter this year and I am. The voters write the blurbs. Since there aren't eight voters, some of us have to pick up other people's divisions. I read a lot of Seifert's blog before I write the NFC North blurbs, I assure you.

Mike (VA)

The next 5 games will decide the Cowboys fate this season. How do you see it playing out?

Dan Graziano
  (12:13 PM)

I predict they will go 2-3.

Joe (New Jersey)

I've never heard the word "blurb" before...

Dan Graziano
  (12:13 PM)

Stick with me, kid.

Splooz (SLC)

Your blurb about the Skins this week seemed designed to rile and agitate. Whatupwitdat?

Dan Graziano
  (12:14 PM)

It was not, I promise.

The Great One (bklyn)

Will the Giants win the division or get a wild card?

Dan Graziano
  (12:14 PM)

Still think division, but I think it's going to be tight with them and the Eagles all year.

Russ (Pa)

What is the weakness in the SF defense the Giants will have to exploit in order to win the game this Sunday?

Dan Graziano
  (12:15 PM)

They don't have one. The Giants are going to have to do what they did in January -- be as tough, not turn it over and hang in until they get a break they can take advantage of.

Steve (Albany )

I understand the need for '11 pick Tyron Smith and he has played well. But would Dallas be a better football team overall if Rob Ryan got his way and selected JJ Watt instead?

Dan Graziano
  (12:16 PM)

Well, I see your point, and obviously it's easy to say that now that Watt looks like the best defensive player in the league. But can you imagine how bad that Dallas line would be if you took Smith off of it? Yipes.

Gary (New York City)

Dan, why is no one talking about the Eagles inability to score points? 31st in points per game through 5 weeks? Big problem.

Dan Graziano
  (12:16 PM)

I feel like a lot of people are talking about it.

Splooz (SLC)

Which player currently helping another team do you think their old East team misses the most? Top of my head I'd say Carlos Rogers.

Dan Graziano
  (12:17 PM)

That's a good question. And a good answer. Martellus Bennett is in the conversation, as bizarre as that sounds.

John (South Florida)

Why don't the Eagles run more screens, reverses, fake reverses, trick plays, etc. ? Their offensive playcalling of late has been very mundane and predictable. Why not mix it up with all those speedsters and skill players on offense?

Dan Graziano
  (12:18 PM)

I think they're just trying to stay basic until they can figure out how to stop turning it over. Getting that creative likely wouldn't help their biggest problem.

Will (DC) [via mobile]

I think the reason RG3 tried to make a play and consequently got hurt was because he did not believe old Billy boy would make the field goal. Had he made the first one I don't think RG3 would be concussed right now. Would you agree Dan? By the way I love your blog.

Dan Graziano
  (12:19 PM)

Thanks. I think you're reaching, though. The FG would have been 11 yards shorter than the one Cundiff missed.

Kevin (San Antonio)

Dan, Kerrigan has been an absolute Beast! How do you think he fares against others across the league so far?

Dan Graziano
  (12:19 PM)

I think he's playing his position as well as any player in the entire league, period.

Darnell (Houston, TX )

why doesn't jaun blitz more that wide nine is like swiss cheese

Dan Graziano
  (12:20 PM)

They're 8th in the league in total defense. The defense is not the Eagles' problem to this point. The turnovers are.

David (Dallas)

If Dez has another bad game (drops, bad routes, etc), is it possible for Romo to lose even more confidence in him?

Dan Graziano
  (12:21 PM)

Possible, but not responsible. And he knows that. He wants Bryant to be a great player and will do what he can to help.

Joseph (North Carolina)

you think the skins would consider trading orakpo? what could they get for him if they did?

Dan Graziano
  (12:22 PM)

Not much, while he's injured.

Butts (Richmond, VA)

Would the Redskins be in this mess with the secondary had the league not allow john mara to steal $18 million in cap money for the two seasons?

Dan Graziano
  (12:23 PM)

Yes, they had plans to do more in free agency with the secondary and the offensive line as well, and had to change those plans.

Craig (Tri State Area)

Dan, if the Eagles take of business vs Detroit, they have to be happy going into bye week 4-2 considering how the 'O' and ( Not very) special teams have played

Dan Graziano
  (12:23 PM)

Agreed.

Weech (SoCal, CA)

As abysmal as Dallas looked a week ago, their OL wasn't part of that conversation. Free and Tyron finally put in a solid performance; OL had 0 penalties. Now, Dallas needs Cook, Mackenzie, and Livings to put in a solid performance against Ngati & Co. Do you see Dallas doing enough to keep it competitive?

Dan Graziano
  (12:24 PM)

I think the line was better last week than it had been, and I think it can continue to get better. But it remains a major weakness, and I dispute the assertion that it had nothing to do with the loss. They get no push in the run game on that right side, and Romo's still got to move his feet all the time. The protection only looked good compared to what it had been in the previous games this season, when it was nonexistent.

Danny (FL)

Please tell these hateful fans that the vote was 30-0 on the cap penalty...Its not like Mara and Goodell just hatched up in a back room...the league penalized them...

Dan Graziano
  (12:25 PM)

No. Mara led the charge on the enforcement of the penalties, chaired the committee that imposed them and vociferously defended them in the media. He can own it.

Craig (Cherry Hill, NJ)

Hey dan, my weekend was great, how about yours? Whose your Offensive and Defensive MVP so far for each team?

Dan Graziano
  (12:27 PM)

Top of my head: Manning, McCoy, Austin, Griffin. Pierre-Paul, Ryans, Ware, Kerrigan.

Dan Graziano
  (12:27 PM)

Maybe Kendricks or Rodgers-Cromartie over Ryans on Philly defense. Lots of candidates there.

John (South Florida)

Any talk about the new flak jacket Michael Vick is wearing this season for extra protection? Could it be the reason he is fumbling more this year?

Dan Graziano
  (12:27 PM)

Jacket doesn't go on his hands...

Scott (Giants Country)

Own handing down a penalty for obvious subversion of future salary capped years...NOT for violating some super secret caolluded cap. Every team could spend anything they wanted to hire a guy, but were explicity warned about paying a player forward in 2011 to skirt around the cap in future years....Snyder and Jones need to "own" their dirty tactics too

Dan Graziano
  (12:28 PM)

It would seem as though they have.

Joe (New Jersey)

Dan, I believe Sean Lee will be a top 2 MLB by this time next year, do you think he has that potential?

Dan Graziano
  (12:28 PM)

I think he's got the potential to be as good as anyone, yes. Incredible instincts, incredible athleticism, great, great player.

Dee (Alabama)

With the injury to Brian Cushing , do you think the Texans regret trading Demeco Ryans to the Eagles

Dan Graziano
  (12:29 PM)

Thought about that this morning, actually. But they had cap concerns and had to move someone. They were using Cushing more. Can't predict injuries.

Craig (Cherry Hill, NJ)

How comer Reid doesn't give the ball to Mccoy more? everyone wants the ball in his hands running more than Vick.

Dan Graziano
  (12:30 PM)

FUN FACT: Only five running backs in the NFL have more carries so far this year than LeSean McCoy. Perception, she's a killa.

John (NYC)

Am I wrong or did the Vikings beat the 49ers this earlier this season?

Dan Graziano
  (12:30 PM)

You are not wrong.

DC_Marc (Online)

I have asked you a Giants question over and over, but you haven't been taking it. At least take someone's Giants question! Here's the question: "Is it standard for the league to allow sequencing of suspensions the way it did for the Giants? It's almost an advantage for them this time, carrying an extra safety without having to cut one."

Dan Graziano
  (12:30 PM)

It is standard, yes.

Weech (SoCal, CA)

Sean Lee has potential to be in the London Fletcher conversation. He'll rack up the tackles and be a stalwart for their team and not make many Pro Bowls with the likes of Patrick Willis and others in the NFC.

Dan Graziano
  (12:31 PM)

I agree with your premise, but your argument suffers if it's based on the idea that a Dallas Cowboys player might struggle to attain national attention.

Splooz (SLC)

Are you on Adderall? Your chat seems to be moving fast...too fast.

Dan Graziano
  (12:31 PM)

I'll never tell. Unless I get suspended for performance-enhancing drug use, in which case that's what I'll tell everyone.

Bryan (Philly)

Aside fromt maybe the Giants is any other team in the East really title contenders?

Dan Graziano
  (12:32 PM)

Yeah, I mean, I think the Eagles are really good. I don't get why it's so hard to believe.

Ryan (NYC)

Seriously Dan, you have any idea what it is with this players and Adderall? Its not like its stroids or HGH, how come these guys don't get or file the prescription with the league?

Dan Graziano
  (12:33 PM)

You have to step back and look bigger picture here. Do you assume they're all telling the truth when everybody who gets suspended four games says it's because of some snafu regarding Adderall and a prescription? I don't. I think some of these guys are actually getting busted for other stuff and lying.

Brian (NY)

What defensive game plan should the Giants have @SF?

Dan Graziano
  (12:34 PM)

Stop the run and make ol' Alex Smith beat em deep.

Jon (Stowe, VT)

Do you think the Cowboys have any shot to make the playoffs?

Dan Graziano
  (12:34 PM)

Of course they have a shot. I do not think they will.

Dana (Climbing in your window)

Since you were at the Pitt/Philly game, were there any specific match ups you kept your eye on? I tried to keep my eye on Kendricks and it appeared to the untrained eye that he had his worst game as a pro so far. What'd you think?

Dan Graziano
  (12:35 PM)

Yes, he got caught up a couple of times and missed a key tackle. I would agree that it was his worst game yet, but his first four were off the charts.

Scott (NY)

So your calling Will Hill And Tyler Sash liars?

Dan Graziano
  (12:36 PM)

No. And this is exactly why I'm not doing a separate post on this but only addressing it as it comes up here and on Twitter. I don't think we should single anyone out. Totally possible either or even both of those guys is telling the truth. But when every guy that gets busted tells the same story, I think we should be suspicious. Is it really plausible that no one is getting busted for anything but Adderall?

guinness0224 (NYC)

I know you wrote a piece that you didn't see any specific instances of playing dirty by the Eagles against the Steelers, but what about what Coleman did? He threw a receiver's show down the field and then jumping and stepping on the back of that offensive lineman?

Dan Graziano
  (12:37 PM)

The shoe thing was bizarre, yes. The replay of him stepping on Colon isn't exactly Ndamukong Suh, though. Play was live and he was trying to jump over someone.

M (DC)

Dan, how do you rank NFC East's QBs as compared to your preseason rankings?

Dan Graziano
  (12:37 PM)

Well, Griffin's outplayed Romo and Vick, so I'd put him No. 2 behind Manning right now I think.

Luigi (NYC)

If by some miracle the Giants beat the 49ers this weekend should the Giants be considered the NFC favorites?

Dan Graziano
  (12:38 PM)

There remains an undefeated team in Atlanta.

Jon (ATL)

Hey Dan,What's wrong with the Cows? More mediocrity and no answers. Coach should be OK, Players are supposedly talented (except the O-Line). . .where is the breakdown, what can they do to improve and make the playoffs?

Dan Graziano
  (12:38 PM)

People will read this as smart-ass, but I think it's as simple as this: I don't think they have enough good players.

Gary (New York City)

Why would it be such a miracle that the Giants beat the 49ers this weekend? Didn't we beat them for all the marbles last January?

Dan Graziano
  (12:39 PM)

Who said miracle? Did I say miracle? I picked them to win both of their games out there last year. Might pick em again this week. No miracle. Giants are good.

DC_Marc (Online)

Plausible? Yes. Because it's a banned substance if the prescription isn't registered, so wouldn't that be enough by the league's (justifiably) inflexible standards?

Dan Graziano
  (12:40 PM)

You didn't read my question correctly. It's plausible to think they could be getting banged for Adderall. What's NOT plausible is the idea that they're not getting banged for anything else.

Big Poppa (Philly)

If you haven't seen anything "dirty" from Philly, just watch Jason Babin, every week he goes low at the QB's knees and has been fined twice.

Dan Graziano
  (12:40 PM)

Point noted and well taken.

Jasun (Ambler PA)

How many questions ( about ) do you field during one of these?

Dan Graziano
  (12:41 PM)

This is No. 478 since noon. I get to about one a minute, I think, so so far I've probably fielded 45 or so out of those 478.

Dan Graziano
  (12:41 PM)

Someone else could maybe count.

Kyle (Oxford)

David Wilson lit up the Eagles in the return game last week. I might be full of it, but it looked like the Browns took note of that too. It seemed they were skying the kicks, sacrificing touchbacks and letting Wilson catch it at the 5-10 without a head of steam. Any legitimacy to this theory?

Dan Graziano
  (12:42 PM)

I don't know. Seems as though, if you were worried about a return man, you'd go with more touchbacks. Right?

Gary (New York City)

If by some miracle the Giants beat the 49ers this weekend should the Giants be considered the NFC favorites? -Luigi (NYC) Dan, you didn't say it but you didn't shoot it down either when Luigi from NYC said it. Didn't mean to sound like I was putting words in your mouth because I was not.

Dan Graziano
  (12:43 PM)

Ah. Gotcha. Luigi said "miracle." All makes sense now.

Splooz (SLC)

Got baseball playoff predictions for your loyal following?

Dan Graziano
  (12:43 PM)

I'm picking Nats over Tigers in the World Series.

Tim (Columbia, MD)

You should run one of these chats from a Starbucks, wearing thick glasses and talking out loud in Comicbook Guy's voice when you get really stupid questions.

Dan Graziano
  (12:43 PM)

Next week.

Kris G (Indy)

Did you seriously suggest that the 'Skins predominantly use the run against the Vikings this weekend? (The vikings are 7th against the run, give up 3.2 YPA, haven't had a run longer 15 yds against them, and only have 1 rushing TD against them). I know that not having Griffen is the hypothetical reason, but it sounds more like laying down and waiting until next week. Is that really Washington's best bet if Griffen is out?

Dan Graziano
  (12:44 PM)

Who's Griffen?

Scott (Giants Country)

worst. chat. ever.

Dan Graziano
  (12:44 PM)

I was thinking the same thing.

Ryan (NYC)

Over/under David Wilson kickoff return for TDs for rest of the season: 2

Dan Graziano
  (12:45 PM)

I'll take the under. Still have not had a kick or punt returned for a touchdown in the NFC East since I took over this blog. An astounding streak, truly.

Craig (Cherry Hill, NJ)

San Francisco doesn't miss tackles = very little yards after contact. Bad week for Cruz since his strength is breaking a tackle and going far?

Dan Graziano
  (12:46 PM)

Your theory is sound, though challenged somewhat by Cruz's 10 catches for 142 yards in the NFC Championship Game.

TMSCFINEST (Toronto, Ontario)

I know you see this question Danny Pineapples so answer......At what point does the coaching staff consider benching Nnamdi??? When he gets beat, he gets beat REALLY BAD!!!

Dan Graziano
  (12:47 PM)

He has not lived up to his pre-Philly reputation. That said, few could have, and he does a fine job. Every CB looks bad when they get beat.

Ben (PA)

Dan I think I figured it out. Giants fans will not stop crying until you admit how great their team is, and Eagles fans will not stop yelling into you admit how bad our team is.

Dan Graziano
  (12:48 PM)

It sometimes seems as though this is the case, yes.

Butts (Richmond, VA)

Why do some people call you Danny Pineapples?

Dan Graziano
  (12:48 PM)

Who feels like telling the pineapple story? Anyone?

Rich (Philadelphia)

Jayron Hosely back this week? Another future stud by the way, you heard it here first!!

Dan Graziano
  (12:49 PM)

Yeah, I liked the way he was playing before the injury. Would help. Too early in the week to know if he'll play.

dave (Jer-Z)

Thoughts on the whole Eric Winston schpiel?

Dan Graziano
  (12:49 PM)

I think his points are well taken in general. Not having been at the game, I cannot speak to the idea of whether he was overreacting to the specific situation. I have a Chiefs-fan friend who was at the game and e-mailed me to say it's being overblown, and that the cheers were mainly when Quinn entered the game, not when Cassel exited.

Sam (New York, NY)

Granted Cruz got 10 for 142 in the NFC game, but majority was in first half (8 out of 10 of those catches). If Nicks is out, what adjustments do you see in the Giants passing game?

Dan Graziano
  (12:50 PM)

I don't understand. The first half doesn't count? Both defenses went straight Beast Mode after halftime in that game. Nobody could move the ball. Whole game COULD be like that Sunday, but there's no Super Bowl trip on the line this time.

Ryan (NYC)

Giants were a top 10 team one week in the power rankings last year. Dan said if the Giants are a top ten team then I'm a pineapple. Giants won the Super Bowl so they were the BEST team. Giants fans call Dan pineapple now. To Dan's credit he owned it.

Dan Graziano
  (12:51 PM)

This is the most accurate account I see on this list.

Mike (PA)

Ironic at all that the team that was flagged twice in one drive for illegal helmet hits is whining about the Eagles being dirty?

Dan Graziano
  (12:51 PM)

It is.

Yo (Yo)

Deepest WR corp in the NFC Beast?

Dan Graziano
  (12:52 PM)

It would certainly appear to be the Giants. Think the Jets might want to borrow from their bench?

Tim (Columbia, MD)

Woohoo, the 'Skins only fell 3 spots in the power rankings!

Dan Graziano
  (12:53 PM)

Yeah, I mean, they played well against an undefeated team. Only reason I moved them down at all was I felt like it was time to jump the Vikings up.

Big Poppa (Philly)

Has Romo's supporting cast played the worst out of every other NFCE team this year?

Dan Graziano
  (12:53 PM)

I think that's a fair assessment.

Dan Graziano
  (12:53 PM)

Though the Cowboys' defense was very good in their first three games.

Darnell (TX )

is megatron the only major offensive threat the birds d has to deal

Dan Graziano
  (12:54 PM)

Lions don't do much in the run game. Calvin Johnson is obviously best WR, but Burleson has played well and the TE, Pettigrew, is a good player.

Eric (DC)

Is this the end of the line for Cundiff and, if so, who gets the job?

Dan Graziano
  (12:54 PM)

I can't handicap it. If somebody does replace him, I guarantee you it'll be somebody who can kick it through the back of the end zone on kickoffs.

TJ (Philly)

How does John Clayton justify having the Giants ranked 14th this week?

Dan Graziano
  (12:55 PM)

Gonna have to go to John's chat to get an answer on that.

Joel (New York)

You usually cover the most intriguing NFC East game every week. Is it safe to assume you'll be in San Francisco this week?

Dan Graziano
  (12:56 PM)

It's not that simple. My travel plans are determined by conversations with my editors, and a lot of factors come into play, including cost, distance and the presence of the local sites that staff every Giants and Cowboys game. I will be in Baltimore this week to see the Cowboys. I specifically asked for Cowboys this week, since I've seen the Eagles two weeks in a row and have not seen the Cowboys since Week 1. Mike Sando will be at Giants-49ers for us.

Vince (Poconos, PA)

How many wins did you predict the Eagles will have this year? I have them at 12.

Dan Graziano
  (12:56 PM)

I predicted 11.

DC_Marc (Online)

Rank teams by which fan base asks smartest questions, please?

Dan Graziano
  (12:56 PM)

Hahahhahaa. No.

John (South FL)

Will Andy Reid produce another stellar second half this year after the Eagles bye?

Dan Graziano
  (12:57 PM)

You know? Why is no one talking about this? Isn't he known to have great second-half teams? Why are people so determined to believe the issues they have right now can't improve?

Craig (Cherry Hill, NJ)

At what point do you stop saying "I trust the Giants D-line to get sacks" and start saying "something is wrong with the Giants D-Line"

Dan Graziano
  (12:58 PM)

You call there, Craig. But in general, the Giants get a great deal of well-earned benefit of the doubt.

TMSCFINEST (Toronto, Ontario)

Regarding the Eagles first half struggles, I gotta ask whether the real root of the problem is Marty (Morninwheg) & Andy (Reid)'s stubbornness, stupidity or both. On Vick's first two fumbles Sunday, I saw two plays that shouldn't have been called in the first place. The first because of the formation

Dan Graziano
  (12:59 PM)

You may well be right, but I don't see how that excuses the fumbling.

Andy (DC)

Redskins are right down the street from the Ravens, go to both games?

Dan Graziano
  (1:00 PM)

Would be a tough trick. After Cowboys game, I go to locker room for interviews. Would finish no earlier than 5:00, file column by 6:00, get on the road an arrive at FedEx maybe during third quarter. Might make for a heck of a story. Maybe when I was younger.

DT (Pineapple Land)

Time to put this pineapple of a chat to bed with a witty BEAST comment! Go!!!!

Dan Graziano
  (1:01 PM)

Uh... bye?
