Who did Oregon sign on the National Signing Day on Wednesday?

Brandon, rank the ducks 2001, 2007, and 2010 teams...I personally think if Dixon didn't go down that year there wasn't a team in the nation who could stop that team
Do you feel helfrich will continue chip's WTD mentality or try to create his own stamp on the program?
Everything is going just fine, so I imagine Helfrich will keep it the same. Elite programs build a culture and stick with it, which is how they stay elite. The Ducks will work to continue becoming a force in college football with the same mentality they had under Kelly
@ Nick- I would say 2007, 2010, 2001 but it is tough. 2007 was the year that would have stamped Oregon's ticket to the upper echelon of college football and silenced all the critics.Dennis Dixon would have won the Heisman and the Ducks would likely have won the national title. LSU got in the title game with 2 losses and smashed Ohio St as the No. 2 team in the country. The Ducks would have been in over LSU and would have likely done the same. 2010 was just a great team that had a lot of great players.2001 was a great TEAM that had a few stars but was really just one of those teams that saw it all come together in the same season.
Do you think tyner will see significant carries next season?
Yes. He has to. The Ducks only have Marshall and Thomas on scholarship. Thomas will never be able to carry the load on a game to game basis. Tyner will have a major impact in year one
5 years down the road, will the PAC 12 championship game be held at unlv's grand new stadium ?
It should be. Pac-12 Hoops and Football should always be held in Vegas in my opinion. There is just not enough interest in sports on the west coast to draw a large crowd every year. Giving the game a destination like that, in an incredible stadium would draw in thousands of fans that would never to watch, say Washington State play Arizona in the P12 Championship game.I'd go
Low on questions?
Yes sir. Only a few minutes left...Have any for me?
As a great game. Both teams should be around the same level as last year, with UCLA probably taking a step forward. Those two have had some incredible games in the past and it would be nice to see them again. Some of the Oregon-UCLA games from the mid-1990's to the mid-2000's were amazing.1998 Oregon at UCLA is still one of the top 5 games I have ever seen
How do you see Oregon's matchup with UCLA next fall?
See previous answer...
Did Oregon stop recruiting Vanderdoes or was he not interested anymore?
A little of this , a little of that. No one really knows but there was a disconnect somewhere that pushed him to look elsewhere.I think he grew tired of the lack of contact from the Ducks after they offered him much later than everyone else
That 98 game was awesome at the Rose Bowl. Akili Smith was still good then.
True. Akili in 97 and Dixon in 2007 had amazing seasons. Akili was one of the best players I have ever been around at the college level. Cam Newton before Cam Newton.I mostly remember Cade McNown throwing up, Danny Farmer catching hail mary's, Rueben Droughns fumbling four times, breaking his leg and still trying to play. The similarities between the 1998 Ducks and the 2007 Ducks are pretty crazy. So talented but too many injuries to finish the job.If Akili would have played in the offense the Ducks have now...that would have been fun to see.
This is fun, I get all my questions answered! Why does it appear that Oregon recruits/offers much differently than any other major program?
After the issues with Masoli, Garrett Embry, LaGarrette Blount, Diante Jackson, Tyrece Gaines, Andrew Iupati, Terrance Montgomery and others, the Ducks grew tired of wasting valuable time and money on kids that didn't have what it takes to succeed on or off the field in college. That being said, they should work on getting offers out earlier in the process. You always hate to pull a kid's offer and burn bridges, but it can be done.
Thanks Daniel and every one else! I have to run and chase down the Class of 2014! Take care and see you again soon!
