We've got Dee!

Ryan (San Diego)

How different was working out to prepare for the combine versus just doing your regular workouts?

Dee Milliner
  (1:55 PM)

You have to sit and work on things that you'll do at the combine. Things specific for you that you have to do, footwork, the 40 of course. Technique. Be a technician at the combine.

Reed (Baltimore)

do you listen to any of the draft analysts in terms of where you might be drafted?

Dee Milliner
  (1:55 PM)

No, I try to stay away from it for the most part. People tell me about it, but I try to stay away from it.

Tyler (Miami)

How weird do you think it will be to play for a coach other than Coach Saban?

Dee Milliner
  (1:56 PM)

It won't be weird. That's a transition that you have to make. You have to be ready for it. Prepare and make the most of it.

Peter (DC)

How much pressure is there at the combine, knowing that every team's scouts are there to watch you perform and are grading you?

Dee Milliner
  (1:56 PM)

I don't look it at as me being nervous. I feel they're looking at me and watching me perform. I have to show them why they are there watching me.

David (Kansas City)

Hey Dee. Im an Arkansas fan But could you describe your experience with the Tide?

Dee Milliner
  (1:57 PM)

It was great. Great environment. Great student body. Great classes and teachers. It was great being around my teammates. Guys going off to the NFL. It was a great experience with Coach Saban and being around people who want to win and do great things.

Darryl (TX)

Have you been traveling a lot to do one on one visits with teams? How many teams have you talked to?

Dee Milliner
  (1:57 PM)

You could say a lot. I've visited about 8 teams.

Kevin (Portland)

do you think you performed better at the combine or at Alabama's pro day?

Dee Milliner
  (1:58 PM)

Combine, because I didn't do pro day.

Will (LA)

What were the Alabama practices like, considering you'll have so many players going on to the NFL?

Dee Milliner
  (1:58 PM)

The practices were tough. It was hard in that environment with all of those players. You want to compete and have good practices.

Bill (Toronto)

What is the strangest question a team has asked you during an interview?

Dee Milliner
  (1:59 PM)

I really haven't had any strange questions. I'm surprised. A lot of people have asked me that, but I haven't gotten any.

Sammy (Boston)

are you hoping to go to a specific scheme in the NFL?

Dee Milliner
  (1:59 PM)

No. Just go to a team whoever I can adapt to and learn their system. I have to learn what they do, not them adapting to what I do.

Evan (Dallas)

Were you happy with your combine workout?

Dee Milliner
  (2:00 PM)

Yes I was happy. The things I think I did best there was probably the 40.

Dee Milliner
  (2:00 PM)

But that could have been better too.

Kyle (VA)

I know you're probably not listening to the draft stuff, but do your family and friends read stuff and then want to talk to you about it?

Dee Milliner
  (2:01 PM)

My family knows who I am, so they don't really bother me about it. They probably have people telling them like I do too. But they don't really talk to me about it, because they know I don't want to talk about it.

Bama Wayne (S. Florida)

Do you believe some scouts are looking at your interception totals and misinterpreting that?

Dee Milliner
  (2:01 PM)

I don't think they look at it. Some people might, some people don't. They know I'm a football player. There are somethings that I can work on and get better. It won't harm me.

Kris (BOS)

What's the worst part about the draft process?

Dee Milliner
  (2:02 PM)

Traveling.

Bama Wayne (S. Florida)

Dee Milliner
  (2:02 PM)

LSU.

Trey (Nebraska)

How Do you think you are going to do in the change from college to nfl?

Dee Milliner
  (2:04 PM)

I'll have to understand the technique. Have to adapt. And be able to come out each week and play at a A+ level. You're going against Grade A competition.

Brandon (syracuse)

do you feel you became more nfl ready playing for coach saban in college?

Dee Milliner
  (2:04 PM)

Yes I do. He did a great job of preparing us for the next level. By the way we do things. The meetings. How he does things get us ready.

Bama Wayne (S. Florida)

Teammates and the fans.

Alan (Detroit)

How much time did you need to decide to leave school early?

Dee Milliner

I needed a lot of time. It was a long process. There were a lot of things I could have done either way. It was a long thought process.

Dee Milliner
