Elena Delle Donne, Brittney Griner and Skylar Diggins will be here shortly to take your questions!

Buzzmaster
  (2:48 PM)

OK. We've got Elena here for your questions!

Randall (Lynnwood)

We've all done it, but in the backyard as a kid game on the line... What star did you pretend to be?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:51 PM)

Michael Jordan. I grew up watching Michael Jordan play and loved him.

Patrick (CT)

Do any of you have players that you look forward to playing against?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:52 PM)

Not in particular. I'm just excited to play in the league playing for whatever team drafts me.

kevin (macon ga)

Elena, the only other Blue Hen who has played in the WNBA was Tyresa Smith, whose pro career was fairly short. Has coming from a school without much history of turning out pro talent affected your preparation for the next level?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:53 PM)

IT hasn't effected my preparation at all. I'm confident in my game and confident that I can contribute to whatever team I'm drafted by.

eddie (chula vista)

ellena you played your entire career in deleware how will it feel to be playing in chicago or tulsa will you be ready

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:53 PM)

Playing in college, you play in differnet cities and states all the time. It's not that different to do that. I'll make it my home wherever I am.

Brad (Gadsden,Alabama)

Elena, Who is your favorite WNBA player?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:54 PM)

I don't have a favorite. People have compared my game to Lauren Jackson and Candace Parker. I've never really picked a favorite.

Troy (Oregon)

What do look for in a basketball shoe? Ankle Support, lightweight? High Top? Low Top? etc

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:54 PM)

Well, I'm now an official Nike athlete, so it has to be a Nike shoe. I've always just loved Nike shoes. Anything Nike.

Troy (Oregon)

What was your favorite/Least favorite class?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:55 PM)

My favorite is going to be tied with the junior and senior class. I don't have a least favorite class.

Penny (CA)

Elena, what advice would you give to any girl out there who wishes she were in your shoes today, so that someday she can be there?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:55 PM)

I would say obviously you have to be self driven. Push yourself. Try to be different in your game, be different and do something no one else has done.

jody (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

What was your most memorable game in college?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:56 PM)

I would definitely go with the UNC game to get us into the Sweet 16, something our school hadn't done in school history.

Douglas (LA)

Ice, heating pads, message. What's the after game routine?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:56 PM)

Usually it will be the ice tub. If I'm really hurting, I'll get a massage.

Troy (Oregon)

How much sleep do you get before game day?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:57 PM)

I don't nap on game day, because that would make me tired. I try to get at least 8 hours the night before.

Tracy(Jacksonville, FL) [via mobile]

What will you bring to the game once drafted by a team in the WNBA?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:57 PM)

I think I'll bring versatility and being able to play all positions.

Penny (CA)

Elena, you like to cook. So what's your favorite meal to cook and what one do you thin is the best one you've ever made?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:58 PM)

I like to make anything Italian, usually. My two best dishes are probably lasagna and Mediterranean pasta.

michael (indiana)

What is one most important thing, that you have learned or got from basketball?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:58 PM)

Being true to yourself, following your heart and being happy are life lessons that I learned from the sport of basketball.

kevin (macon ga)

Who did the best at the WNBA trivia game at lunch time?

Elena Delle Donne
  (2:59 PM)

Skylar did the best. I think Brittney did well too, but she had some very good people sitting next to her giving her answers and I came in the middle.

Michael (Lancaster)

How much time do you have off between now and preseason? What do you plan to do during that time?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:00 PM)

I took a full week off of doing nothing. After that week, I started lifting again. Once I get back Thursday from the draft, I will do lifting, conditioning and basketball.

Patrick (CT)

What do you think of the new WNBA logo?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:01 PM)

I love the new logo. I think it's giving the league a new brand. With this class coming in and all of the excitement, I think it's a great time to start new, change the brand.

Katie (Virginia)

When was it when you all first dreamed of playing in the wnba? And when did you all realize that could actually happen?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:01 PM)

Ever since I started playing I wanted to play professionally. It was always a dream. I really realized I could do something with the sport when I played AAU and was playing against some of the best players.

Patrick (CT)

Do you plan on playing overseas in the offseason?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:02 PM)

I haven't made that decision yet. I'm going to play my WNBA season and see what offers come my way and go from there.

jeremy (chicago)

what a secondary sport u do

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:02 PM)

I played volleyball for a little bit. I like watching football a lot.

Caicai Hahn/New jersey [via mobile]

How did you become a great basketball player?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:03 PM)

A boatload of time, energy and effort. It started from a young age, doing skills workouts. Playing a ton of basketball with my AAU team and my regular season team.

Ian (NY)

What advice would you give someone who is really passionate about women's basketball and wants to become involved in the future growth of the game like coaching?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:04 PM)

Talk about the game to as many people as you can. And come to games too. We need to fill the stands.

Michael (Delaware)

Besides sports, what is your best memory from attending the University of Delaware?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:05 PM)

I had a great experience academically. I met some incredible professors who I will continue to have great relationships with. I met a lot of great friends along the way.

michael (indiana)

Is there a perfect fit for you, or a team that you think your talent would meet a certain teams needs?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:05 PM)

I'm going to say there is a specific team that my talent fits the most. I'm just excited to get drafted and I'll play my heart out to any team that drafts me.

Megan (ME)

Do you feel a lot of pressure being grouped with Griner and Diggins?

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:06 PM)

I like the pressure. As long as I continue to stay true to myself and be the person I am, the pressure won't affect me. I think it's awesome for the league that this attention is on women's basketball.

Elena Delle Donne
  (3:06 PM)

Those fans that follow me at Delaware, please continue to follow me. I promise it will be a lot of fun.

Buzzmaster
  (3:07 PM)

Thanks Elena!

Buzzmaster
  (3:07 PM)

Brittney and Skylar will be here shortly to take your questions too!

Buzzmaster
  (3:12 PM)

They're here!

kevin (macon ga)

What does Title IX mean to you?

Brittney Griner
  (3:13 PM)

It means everything. Without Title IX we wouldn't have the rights we have now as womens.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:13 PM)

Like Brit says, it's special. It gave us an opportunity. We have to thank the women before us and gave us the chance to do what the guys do, play.

kevin (macon ga)

Brittney, you said on First Take that you're a country girl who likes fishing. Do you ever do any hunting?

Brittney Griner
  (3:13 PM)

Yes, I've been hog hunting before. Spotlight hunting. I'm a country girl.

Raymond (Seattle)

Skylar, What basketball movie would you most like to remake? Love and Basketball, White Men Can't Jump (Obviously female version), or (S)He Got Game?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:14 PM)

That's a tough decision. I lked all of those movies. I would have to say I've gotten asked most about Love and Basketball. If I have to pick, I would say that one.

Kc (Texas)

If you have a superpower, what would it be?

Brittney Griner
  (3:15 PM)

Invisibility.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:15 PM)

Super speed. Or something like invisibility.

Randall (Lynnwood)

what are the chances of an Official Skylar Diggins Headband?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:15 PM)

The chances are very, very good. Very good. If I have anything to do with it.

Brad (Gadsden,Alabama)

Brittney, Do you have have any pre-game rituals?

Brittney Griner
  (3:16 PM)

I do. It's hard to remember them until I do them. I listen to music. I run out the same way and handshakes with teammates.

Elizabeth (VA)

What is the one thing you are most excited about being in the wnba?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:17 PM)

Play. I'm trying not to sound like a smart aleck, but play. I'm excited to be a part of the league and all of the excitement surrounding the draft this year.

Kris (DC)

Hi Brittney! Everyone has their critics, so how do you stay positive and not get down from all that negativity?

Brittney Griner
  (3:17 PM)

Just really shaking it off. When you're doing something right, everyone will have something wrong to say.

Douglas (LA)

For Skylar: Would you ever do a reality show?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:18 PM)

Yes, if it's done the right way. If it's done the right way.

pj (midlo)

Brittany, please tell us about your great coach at Baylor - yeah I was old enough to have seen her play at La Tech for coach Barmore and yes she could play!!!

Brittney Griner
  (3:18 PM)

Intense. Very, very very intense. And funny. To see what she wears.

Matt (South Bass Island)

What will each of you miss most about playing college basketball?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:19 PM)

Teammates and coaches. You're around those people every day in college.

Brittney Griner
  (3:19 PM)

Ditto. Being able to see the same people.

kevin (macon ga)

Skylar, Amber Holt wears #4 for Tulsa. If the Shock drafted you, what number would you wear?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:20 PM)

24. I might to do an ask the audience. I was thinking 24, but I was thinking of holding a Twitter contest to see whatever else thought.

Randall (Lynnwood)

Are you guys trash talkers? On the court?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:20 PM)

Guilty.

Brittney Griner
  (3:20 PM)

Yeah, guilty.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:20 PM)

I'm not a trash talker starter.

Brittney Griner
  (3:20 PM)

Yeah, but if you start it, I'll finish it.

Michael Mingo moline illinois [via mobile]

How tough will the transition from college b ball to pro b ball be for you

Brittney Griner
  (3:21 PM)

Just faster pace. It depends on your team. I think it will definitely be a faster pace.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:22 PM)

The competition level is better. Women are bigger, faster, stronger. Everything we learned in college about the rules is thrown out the window. The rules are probably the hardest thing to adjust to.

Caicai Hahn/New jersey [via mobile]

Brittany what's your favorite dance moves?

Brittney Griner
  (3:22 PM)

The Dougie.

Brittney Griner
  (3:22 PM)

Beef.

TruthTella2 (USA)

What personal goals have you set for yourself this year?

Brittney Griner
  (3:23 PM)

Let the game come to me. Don't force it. That's some advice I've gotten. That's my goal. Don't do too much.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:23 PM)

Do whatever the team and coach needs me to do. Be a leader.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:23 PM)

Make the playoffs.

michael (indiana)

Skylar, what is the one thing, that you think you need to improve on when you get to the WNBA?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:23 PM)

Probably adjusting to the physicality.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:24 PM)

And my 3-point shot. At the next level, they're physical, so I'll have to be ready for that. If I can have a consistent 3 that opens up so much for my teammates to penetrate.

Randall (Lynnwood)

What are the positives and negatives of your fame?

Brittney Griner
  (3:24 PM)

Positive, your voice can be heard. Negative, everything you do is under the eye of America.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:25 PM)

Your every move is judged in some way. You get to use your voice for things in bigger than you. It's cool, because people look up to you.

Mark (South Bend, IN)

Sky, you've been a hometown girl you're whole life. How will you adjust to life away from home and maybe even overseas?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:25 PM)

I think I'll be fine. You have to cross that bridge when you get to it. I'm excited. I'm not 14, 15, 18, I'm a 22 year old woman now. I'm ready to take that step.

TruthTella2 (USA)

You won a lot of Trophies/Awards. Where do you keep them all?

Brittney Griner
  (3:26 PM)

Parents house, my house. Everywhere.

Ellen (Illinois)

Do you plan on playing overseas during the off season?

Brittney Griner
  (3:26 PM)

Definitely. Definitely want to go overseas. I want to see the world.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:27 PM)

I want to, I just want to make sure it's the right city.

Ray-Jay (CA)

Can we look forward to seeing you in a team USA uniform soon?

Brittney Griner
  (3:27 PM)

Definitely. I think you'll see both of us.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:27 PM)

I would love the opportunity. On the Olympic level, yeah.

Michael (Indiana)

Brittney and Skylar, What did it feel like to play against each other?

Skylar Diggins
  (3:28 PM)

It's always fun. Some of the most watched games were when we play each other.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:28 PM)

I hope my record is better in the league than in college against her.

Brittney Griner
  (3:28 PM)

Definitely. It's a lot of fun.

Skylar Diggins
  (3:29 PM)

Thanks so much. I love you all. I can't wait to have your continued support in the league.

Brittney Griner
  (3:29 PM)

Thank you so much for participating and thanks for the support.
