We've got Dion!
Hello everyone. It's Dion and I'm ready to chat!
You're from Arizona but played college football in Oregon. Do you prefer playing in cold weather versus hot weather?
It doesn't matter, it's all football to me.
As you try to prepare yourself for the next level, what does a workout consist of?
Staying in shape. Working on a lot of individual position drills.
What is the best advice you've gotten heading into draft day?
To just enjoy the experience, it only comes around once.
Who is your favorite NBA team?
I'm a little ashamed to admit this but I'm a Laker fan.
What was it like wearing those cool uniforms? I mean living in Niketown must be nice!
It was a great experience. The fans in Eugene really loved it!
What would you say is the best part of your game?
I would say the best part of my game is my ability to get after the quarterback.
Which current NFL player are you most looking forward to tackling?
What was your favorite moment of your college career?
Winning the Rose Bowl. It was history for the Oregon program and the city itself.
Which player did you idolize the most growing up?
I was a 49er fan so I enjoyed watching Jerry Rice get after it each and every week.
What makes you stand out from other OLBs in this year's draft?
The fact that I'm 6'7. It's hard not to see me.
What part of your game have you worked on the most heading into the draft?
I really worked on improving my strength.
Which team do you think you would fit into the best?
Any team that will allow me to pass rush more often than I did at Oregon.
What NFL Team do you think that will select you inthe 2013 NFL Draft?
Any team that will pick between 1-10, so I have a great shot.
Do you wanna play DE or OLB in the NFL?
Playing defensive end will allow me to get to the quarterback more often, but OLB will allow me to showcase my athleticism.
Thanks for all the questions. Hope everyone has a blessed day.
