Fantasy Sports with Eric Karabell

Eric Karabell
  (11:01 AM)

Hello all and welcome to the latest ESPN Fantasy sports chat session! I am Eric, we've got an hour, so let's get to as many questions as possible and have a little fun. Thanks for showing up, here we go!

Josh (Hyattsville, MD)

Please tell me there's a chance Cingrani remains in the rotation even after Cueto returns!

Eric Karabell
  (11:02 AM)

He looks good, eh? There's a chance, but it's minor and would depend on an injury to someone else. Dusty Baker loves his veterans, and they are all pitching well. He's not bumping Leake or Arroyo. Sorry.

Kelly (Chicago )

who should i draft number 1 overall in my fantasy football league?

Eric Karabell
  (11:02 AM)

Well, whomever you like, but my vote goes to Adrian Peterson. Not a bad 2012 season for him.

Jon (KC)

I was just offered Ryan Braun for Bryce Harper. Who would you rather have? Any concern about a possible suspension for Braun?

Eric Karabell
  (11:03 AM)

I'd rather have Braun, but that said, if we could redraft today Harper would be darn close to my top 10, if not in it. I had him 20th, which was still considerably better than most (his ADP was 28. Braun is not going to be suspended. Nobody is for that ridiculous Miami mess.

mike (toronto)

points league, i reject hamilton and maholm offer for my trout, right? right??

Eric Karabell
  (11:04 AM)

I would. But that said, Hamilton will hit 30-35 homers and be fine, and Maholm is legit. Not a top-30 starter, though.

Allision (Cambridge)

Teheran finally pitched well but a small portion of k's. Is this a turning point you think? Will the k's return? Solid keeper?

Eric Karabell
  (11:05 AM)

I'm not buying yet, although it was Coors Field. Teheran was terrible before that. Hoping for the best, but I want to see a few more good outings before believing.

John (NJ)

Start Samardzija in Cincinnati tonight?

Eric Karabell
  (11:05 AM)

I don't sit my top 50 starting pitchers in April unless there's good reason, and with Samardzija there is not. Because it's Cincy? No way.

Carl (Georgia)

Who do you like better rest of season? Alexi Ogando or Hisashi Iwakuma? Thanks

Eric Karabell
  (11:06 AM)

Still Ogando, but Iwakuma has looked pretty good. Threw a lot of pitches last night early, but struck out a lot of guys. I'm just angry he broke Justin Maxwell's hand! Had that guy on multiple teams! Iwakuma seems legit, but Ogando is more proven.

Evan (Iowa)

I thought Brandon League was supposed to have pitched his way out of a job by now... Kenley Jansen still roster worthy in a 10 team mixed?

Eric Karabell
  (11:07 AM)

I predicted he'd keep the job all year and save 30. League isn't bad; that's a fallacy. But Jansen can be Kimbrel like. Roster him for the good numbers, but he's not getting saves anytime soon.

Carter (Atlanta)

What are the odds that Adam Wainwright finishes the season as a Top 5 starting pitcher? 35 innings before walking a guy was pretty impressive ...

Eric Karabell
  (11:07 AM)

Was my NL Cy Young pick and it would hardly be a shock if he's top 5. Totally buying this start.

Luke Joeckel (New York City)

you gonna watch me get drafted number 1 overall tommrow eric

Eric Karabell
  (11:08 AM)

I sure am! Good luck in KC! Try the barbeque!

Krystal (Rhinestone)

Is Hosmer still a big time keeper or would you keep Ortiz over him?

Eric Karabell
  (11:08 AM)

Running out of patience with Hosmer, I gotta admit. But not giving up yet. That said I have no doubt Ortiz will hit better.

Harry (Seattle)

Concerned about Gallardo?

Eric Karabell
  (11:09 AM)

On the field, not one bit. Last outing was terrific and he even homered. He's fine, 200 K every season.

Jim (Toronto)

Hey EK, is Cashner a must add in a 10team mixed with his huge upside now that he's got a rotation spot?

Eric Karabell
  (11:10 AM)

No, not a must anything. Tends to get hurt, ya know and in a 10-team mixed there is just so much pitching. Agree on the upside, but for deeper formats.

Don (Grenwich Village, NY)

Is there any value in hanging onto Daniel Hudson as he rehabs his elbow? How good could he be when he returns? Thanks

Eric Karabell
  (11:10 AM)

For the final 2 months sure, but there is no guarantee the D-backs have room for him. How good is impossible to say; all pitchers recover different.

Anthony (Philly)

Rondon going to get any save opportunities in the near future? Trying to decide whether or not to release him for someone like Axford.

Eric Karabell
  (11:11 AM)

The Tigers have made it pretty clear, and I'm not surprised one bit since I predicted it 3 weeks ago, that Valverde is the closer. No committee. And Valverde will be fine. Rondon isn't going to get saves now. Next year he should. But I also have given up on Axford; Henderson has been fine and should keep the job.

Matt (Boston)

Better flyer in a 12 tm mix - Drew Smyly or Patrick Corbin?

Eric Karabell
  (11:12 AM)

I go with Corbin, more of a K guy and NL, but Smyly has upside as well.

KingDizzle420 (Texas)

No reason to stay on the Jose Fernandez train any longer right ? Roto 6x6 league with W and QS's

Eric Karabell
  (11:12 AM)

Incredible. From sure-fire top rookie to being dropped. Oh, those fickle fantasy owners!

Tom (Sunny Phoenix)

Is JJ Putz in trouble? Who takes over, Hernandez or Bell?

Eric Karabell
  (11:12 AM)

He's not in any trouble at all. But Hernandez should be next. One would hope the D-backs see it that way.

papa grande (detroit-for now)

How long do I still with the big club?I looked no so good last year.

Eric Karabell
  (11:13 AM)

Valverde was fine last season. K rate dropped quite a bit but let's call this what it is: His ERA and WHIP were palatable, especially in save situations. Why he doesn't give the same effort in blowout games I can't say. Valverde is going to be fine.

John (MI)

Thoughts on Lorenzo Cain this season? Cain or Aoki ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:14 AM)

Cain has more power upside, and he's capable of a 20-20 season. Aoki runs more, safer in average. I ranked Cain better and am sticking to it.

Eric (Boston)

Dave Cameron recently wrote an article on Strasburg saying he was trying to pitch to contact this season to go deeper into games, which may be affecting his performance. Would you downgrade his value at all over the RoS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:14 AM)

Dave is terrific, and I think he's correct. Still need to see a few more outings, but it doesn't really change the outlook. Still a top-10 starter with that K and really win, ERA and WHIP potential. But I admit I didn't draft SS on any teams.

Joe (Ann Arbor)

Eric, you are nuts if you think Valverde is going to keep the job the entire year. Just wait until his first 3 run lead meltdown...and then the second, and third...

Eric Karabell
  (11:15 AM)

You got it, Joe. Didn't lose the job last year, either. Sounds like a guy that only remembers October.

Brad (MA)

Week 4 and the Rays are still not hitting. Wil Myers up sooner than later now??

Eric Karabell
  (11:15 AM)

Two more weeks, I predict.

Eric Karabell
  (11:16 AM)

And then in four weeks the Myers owners will complain when he hasn't homered yet!

Jeff (Maryland)

Segura has 5 steals in 5 straight games? What's your projection for final season stats?

Eric Karabell
  (11:16 AM)

Before the season I said 35, so I stick with that. But clearly he can do more if he so desires. Underrated player, couldn't understand why he wasn't being taken in ESPN ADP better. I have him on multiple teams.

Stephen (Los Angeles)

Jesus Montero: bread or toast?

Eric Karabell
  (11:17 AM)

Certainly not in my top 10 catchers, or all that close. If I'm Seattle I move him to full-time DH and see if the defensive issues were holding him back offensively. Because there is a hitter lurking.

Bryan (Billerica)

Are you buying into S. Marte? Hes looked goo can he put together an ownable season?

Eric Karabell
  (11:18 AM)

When he finishes with 25 walks and 175 strikeouts, you'll see a batting average on the wrong side of .250, I'm sorry to say. It's inevitable. But the homers/steals will be enticing.

Brendan (Massachusetts)

Joey Votto is on pace for 200 walks but only 20 homers. Which is more likely, 200 walks or only 20 bombs?

Eric Karabell
  (11:18 AM)

He's not driving the ball consistently. I predicted 25 homers prior to the season, and think that's generous. I say he ends up around 22 homers, 150 walks.

Samantha (LA)

Assuming they both get called up in May, Myers or Arenado rest of season?

Eric Karabell
  (11:19 AM)

Myers for me. I think people like Arenado a bit too much. Everyone hits at Triple-A Colo Springs.

John (California)

Dump Jeter for Myers or Taveras?

Eric Karabell
  (11:19 AM)

If you can find a reasonable shortstop, absolutely. Jeter might not play half the season, literally. And he won't run.

Lou (Philly)

Where or where is Ryan Howard's power?

Eric Karabell
  (11:20 AM)

In the way-back machine. I will say, however, that April is his worst career month for power. I think he can still hit 25 homers. And he is healthy. He just needs a cheetah on his back to beat out infield hits.

Jake (Rhode Island)

More excited about C.Utley or disappointed in R.Howard?

Eric Karabell
  (11:21 AM)

Utley for sure. I'm not disappointed in Howard because my expectations were relatively low. Utley looks terrific.

Alex (VA)

Whats up with Ben Revere and his .241 OBP?

Eric Karabell
  (11:22 AM)

Awful. He's disappointing to watch every day at the plate. In the field he's a Gold Glover. But he slaps the ball, and he's had numerous situations where he HAD to hit a fly ball to get a run in and he's hit into double plays. He's also striking out. Things will improve though and he'll swipe 40 bases.

JJ (Boston)

Will Sal Perez pick things up? I've been patient, but it is tough since Buck, Lucroy, and Ruiz available. Would you dump Sal for any of those guys?

Eric Karabell
  (11:22 AM)

I drafted Lucroy over Perez and stick to it. I wouldn't go near Buck.

Dweezil (In the corner)

I see Grossman is leading off today for the Astros; thoughts? Worthy of a pickup in a 16 team 5x5?

Eric Karabell
  (11:23 AM)

In that deep a league, sure. But not a power guy and while he's fast, he's not a good percentage base stealer. Was caught more than successful last year. But he's gonna play and he does get on base.

Tom (Boston)

A. Eaton or S. Marte?

Eric Karabell
  (11:23 AM)

Well, Eaton is still a few weeks away from returning, but he's a legit SB guy, maybe double digits in power. And he should hit for average. I'd take Eaton rest of the way.

Ted (Baltimore)

EK any thoughts on adding T.Lilly in NL only?

Eric Karabell
  (11:24 AM)

I'm all for it. One of my blogs today is on the underrated lefty. Always has a good WHIP.

Bourjos (LA or Anaheim)

Best lineup spot in baseball? Will I take full advantage and have a year like 2011?

Eric Karabell
  (11:25 AM)

Would like to see the occasional walk and stolen base, but it is a nice lineup spot to be in. I still think Aybar replaces him when he's healthy, though.

Mickey (Natick, MA)

Myers over Hosmer, Pagan and Carlos Gomez?

Eric Karabell
  (11:25 AM)

No on all three. Come on, totally unproven at this level. Nice upside but those guys are safer.

Perry (NJ)

Niese has disappointed. Worth rostering in 12 team mixed?

Eric Karabell
  (11:26 AM)

How? He's fine. Trade him to me.

Stu (Park City)

If you owned Hosmer in a keeper league would you try to move him or hold?

Eric Karabell
  (11:26 AM)

Hold. But it might hurt.

Buster (SF)

Buyer's remorse: drafting Aybar over Segura. Misplaced?

Eric Karabell
  (11:26 AM)

Aybar will produce, so be patient. I would have taken him over Segura as well.

Alex (OH)

People are asking me about Harper. Would you trade him for Baumgardner, Pedroia (I am weak at 2B/SS) and a closer?

Eric Karabell
  (11:27 AM)

It's fair, so go for it. But I think he's going to hit 35 homers, so just be aware this is not just a nice start. He's legit. My NL MVP pick, and I think I could get that right.

Rob (DC)

ROS Bourjos or Revere?

Eric Karabell
  (11:27 AM)

That's a really good question. I'm going Bourjos. At least he should hit 12 homers and steal 20. Revere is a mess.

Ben (DC)

Who's more likely to turn it around - Haren, Parker or McCarthy? Thanks!

Eric Karabell
  (11:28 AM)

I say Parker. Still has those skills, but has been a tad unlucky. Haren has just been more than a tad hittable. Lost his stuff. And McCarthy...prob not healthy. Rarely is.

Mike (San Diego)

Thoughts on Lucas Duda?

Eric Karabell
  (11:29 AM)

Ha! Well, I see a 25-homer season. Love the fact he's drawing walks now. And I laugh when I see him try to play outfield, but luckily it's not a fantasy stat. Legit bat though.

Brandon Cornell (KS)

In my fantasy, I have recently picked up Jarred Saltalmachia, but i had Matt Weiters. Who would be a more reliable catcher?

Eric Karabell
  (11:29 AM)

I see people dropping Wieters, but it's not wise.

Todd (CA)

I need another closer because Putz is not elicting confidence. Would you give up Masterson for Joe Nathan?

Eric Karabell
  (11:30 AM)

I wouldn't worry about Putz. It's one bad night. And yeah, I'm not a Masterson fan, so go get a potential top-5 closer. People think Nathan loses the job to Soria; not happening. Soria won't even be back for months.

Brendan (New Bedford)

Matt Moore was the subject of sell high on Mondays podcast. Do you agree? Walks scare me but I have a keeper league and feel like hes a must own for his massive upside

Eric Karabell
  (11:31 AM)

Well, his ERA will certainly not finish where it is now, so by definition you sell anyone off to that start if the price is right. But I believe he could finish around 2.50 and strike out 200.

Jeff (NYC)

Worth dropping Parnell for Valverde or League? Where (roughly) would you rank them among closers?

Eric Karabell
  (11:32 AM)

Valverde would be in my 16-19 range. Other guys not in my top 20. I know people think I'm nuts about Valverde, but look what happened! Tigers did it! And all Valverde has to do to get 30 saves is pitch reasonably, which he did do in 2012 until Oct.

Paul (Detroit)

Matt Kemp will hit __ HR's & Steal ___ Bases this season.

Eric Karabell
  (11:32 AM)

Looks hurt to me. I'd say 26 homers, 22 steals. Will still bring value.

Phil ( Philadelphia)

Best lineup in baseball right now?

Eric Karabell
  (11:33 AM)

Cards over Tigers and Angels. A's and Nats in discussion.

Neil (Asheville)

Matt Carpenter is a Top___ 2B ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:34 AM)

He's my No. 10 guy.

Mike (Minneapolis)

R.A. Dickey.... time to worry?

Eric Karabell
  (11:34 AM)

Nope. I do love how people only ask after R.A.'s bad outings, but not after the good ones!

Dino (Toronto)

Are you still mclovin' McCutchen?

Eric Karabell
  (11:34 AM)

I mc am.

Fantasy Stud [via mobile]

Do you think BJ is feeling pressure from his brother's hot start?? Any reason for concern yet??

Eric Karabell
  (11:35 AM)

I think BJ is feeling pressure because he swings and misses so much he gets into slumps. But he'll end up where we all reasonably projected, hitting .240 or so with 25 homers, 30 steals. His brother has no impact on his stats.

Lance (Chicago)

What's your prediction on the outcome of the Dylan Bundy and Dr. Doom meeting?

Eric Karabell
  (11:36 AM)

When people go to see Dr. Andrews, it's not to share movie reviews. Sorry.

Patrick (NYC)

Can Longoria hit 40 homers?

Eric Karabell
  (11:36 AM)

From now until next June, sure.

Damon (boston)

M. Stanton whats up zero home runs?

Eric Karabell
  (11:36 AM)

Definitely cut him for Greg Dobbs.

Chris (Seattle)

Brandon Morrow, good for today?

Eric Karabell
  (11:37 AM)

Absolutely. Excellent buy low choice.

Jim (Ohio)

Adam Done?

Eric Karabell
  (11:38 AM)

Only thing that concerns me about Adam Dunn is the walk rate. Even in the nightmare 2011 season he walked. This is just weird. But no, not Dunn yet. I'd say .200 average and 28 homers.

James (Chicago)

Thoughts on the Magic Wand(y Rodgriguez) tonight against your Phils?

Eric Karabell
  (11:38 AM)

Two worst teams in baseball against lefty pitching are the Pennsylvania teams. Wandy is terrific spot starter today.

Brendan (Brewster)

Sending R. Halladay today?

Eric Karabell
  (11:39 AM)

Definitely.

Dan (NY)

I'm really nervous about starting Jaime Garcia today at Washington... does he qualify for your top 50 SP that you don't bench in April?

Eric Karabell
  (11:39 AM)

He does not, but I would start him today.

Phil (Madison, WI)

Bourjos or V Wells ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:40 AM)

Bourjos, but I do believe Wells will have a pretty usable season.

Pokey (NY)

Ellsbury has 9 steals already!.. what do you see his final stat line looking like?

Eric Karabell
  (11:40 AM)

Certainly seems like the 10-homer, 50-steal guy again. Crossing fingers on health.

Todd (Newport Beach)

Your thoughts on Gattis ROS? Can they really keep his bat on the bench when McCann returns?

Eric Karabell
  (11:41 AM)

I say no, but that seems too pessimistic for people. Sorry. Most stories like this tend to slow down.

Jared (Iowa)

EK thanks for everything! In a keeper league would you deal Kemp and Buchholz for Stanton?

Eric Karabell
  (11:42 AM)

No. I'd still rather own Kemp than Stanton.

Harry (Miami)

Pence stealing more than usual. EOY +15 steals?

Eric Karabell
  (11:42 AM)

That could happen. I said all winter Pence was underrated and couldn't be judged from merely a 2-month sample with the Giants.

Brendan (Brewster)

Any thought to moving Montero to DH/1B (designate Smoak) and bringing up Zunino?

Eric Karabell
  (11:43 AM)

Mariners management seem to be the only people not seeing this.

Jackson (Philly)

Morrow or Cobb

Eric Karabell
  (11:43 AM)

Big Cobb fan, but still, it's a bit early to jump off the Morrow bandwagon, isn't it?

Bill (Iowa)

Boston scare you enough to sit Brett Anderson today?

Eric Karabell
  (11:44 AM)

Boston didn't score yesterday off Bartolo Colon. No, not scared of them. Scared Anderson trips over the mound in the first inning and leaves the game, though. Awfully brittle, unfortunately.

Matt (Chicago)

Dominic Brown worth holding onto in a keeper league?

Eric Karabell
  (11:44 AM)

Yeah, but I'm not seeing much other than the occasional hard-hit ball and some walks. Probably hits .260 with 15 homers this year.

Jerry (NY)

Willingham still have 30 homers to come?

Eric Karabell
  (11:45 AM)

I'll take the under, but not much under. 25?

Kenny (Orlando)

Drop Frieri for either Valverde or Henderson?

Eric Karabell
  (11:45 AM)

I think he keeps the job over Madson, though. But all 3 need to be owned in all leagues.

Justin Maxwell's broken hand (Houston)

Are you a Morse fan? Would you package him to get Hamilton or stay put?

Eric Karabell
  (11:46 AM)

I think Morse hits 30 homers, bats roughly .270. I think Hamilton probably ends up in same region, but he's more valuable for the potential of much more.

Brett (Rochester)

Do you think Segura keeps his spot in the line up? With A-Ram and Hart coming back isn't he going to move back to the 8 spot with Weeks returning to the 2 spot?

Eric Karabell
  (11:46 AM)

Weeks is terrible. Segura is not. Don't worry about the lineup, Segura will run.

Steve (Deer Park)

Jose Bautista over under .240 BA

Eric Karabell
  (11:46 AM)

Over, but not by a lot. He'll hit.

Eric (Boston)

Any concerns about Gio? Could last year have been a fluke?

Eric Karabell
  (11:47 AM)

Not a fan and don't own him anywhere, but his numbers were pretty legit. Fluke no, but some obvious regression.

Dave (NYC)

Would you drop Beckett for Valverde?

Eric Karabell
  (11:47 AM)

Apples and oranges. Can't compare the No. 65 starter (maybe)to the No. 20 closer (probably). Depends on team need.

Matt (Seattle Wa)

Hey Eric- What's your guess as to when we see Profar make his season debut? Thank you sir!

Eric Karabell
  (11:48 AM)

Rangers don't seem in any hurry. July?

Nick (CO)

Matt Cain or Hammels worry you?

Eric Karabell
  (11:48 AM)

Nope. Not everyone has a good April.

Mark (Bellefonte, PA)

You mentioned not going near Buck. Even with Travis D'arnaud getting hurt?

Eric Karabell
  (11:48 AM)

When he hits .230 the rest of the way, you'll wish you looked elsewhere.

Chris (NJ)

Gregg the new Cubs closer?

Eric Karabell
  (11:49 AM)

As predicted a week ago... but I think it's still a committee and Marmol gets more. That was an extra inning save, which doesn't ensure future saves.

bob (az)

Any players you won't own because of a personal grudge? ie I hate jose valverde and his stupid mound antics so i refuse to own him

Eric Karabell
  (11:50 AM)

Never. It's about the stats. I'm not having dinner with the guy.

John (Boston)

Travis Wood: Sell high or hang onto him?

Eric Karabell
  (11:50 AM)

I kinda like him, actually.

Jon (KC)

I've got some spare bats... is Mark Trumbo for Brandon Morrow giving up too much?

Eric Karabell
  (11:50 AM)

I'd get more in return, but sure, that's a wise buy low move.

Steve (Springfield)

But if you could have dinner with a guy who would you pick?

Eric Karabell
  (11:51 AM)

Ben Revere. I don't know!

Shelby Miller (Killing it)

I'm a must own at this point right?

Eric Karabell
  (11:51 AM)

Absolutely.

Brendan (Massachusetts)

Edwin Encarnacion is making last year look like a complete fluke. Was it?

Eric Karabell
  (11:52 AM)

Nope. It's 3 weeks.

Matthew Brooks (Willows, CA)

I'm trying to be patient with Josh Reddick's slow start but it seems like the As are giving up on him. They've dropped him to 7th in the batting order and are sitting him against leftys. Is it time to cut him?

Eric Karabell
  (11:53 AM)

A's are not giving up on a guy that hit 32 home runs last season. Trust me. And we want him sitting against tough lefties, it's better for his batting average. No worries here.

Jon (KC)

Speaking of Buying Low...Is it a good idea to buy low on Jason Heyward?

Eric Karabell
  (11:53 AM)

Yes. Still among my top 10 outfielders ROS.

Paul (New York)

Rapid fire - Jean Segura, Everth Cabrera or Brandon Crawford?

Eric Karabell
  (11:54 AM)

Segura first, then Cabrera for his 40 steals. Those that think Crawford is suddenly a good hitter aren't paying attention.

Bryan (Garner, NC)

EY finally getting some regular ABs for Colorado. Will it continue? Projected ROS stats?

Eric Karabell
  (11:54 AM)

Big fan, actually. Could steal 30 bases, but I doubt he gets more than 400 AB.

Joe (PA)

Do you see kubel losing playing time when he comes back to Eaton?

Eric Karabell
  (11:55 AM)

I see Parra losing more time, perhaps splitting with Ross.

Chris (SC)

Even saves needy teams are leaving Veras on the wire...lol. is he that bad?

Eric Karabell
  (11:55 AM)

No, but I doubt he saves more than 15 games on that team.

Mitch (Indy)

Mike young or Segura?

Eric Karabell
  (11:56 AM)

Different players. Young can go 15-80-.290 though. Segura more valuable because of 35 steals, and middle infield.

Brent (St. Paul)

Ever been to the Negro League Baseball Museum in KC? It's a must see.

Eric Karabell
  (11:57 AM)

I did go there during All-Star weekend last year. Glad I did.

Leroy (CT)

L. Cain or L. Duda?

Eric Karabell
  (11:57 AM)

Cain might hit fewer homers, but he's a 20/20 contender. Duda can't run.

Brendan (Massachusetts)

You said that Edwin was not a fluke. Stat line ROS? Still 35/100 guy?

Eric Karabell
  (11:57 AM)

Yes.

Patrick (NYC)

Does Danny Amendola have a better season than Wes Welker?

Eric Karabell
  (11:57 AM)

Nope.

Eric (CO)

Would you drop Avila for Ruiz in a few days?

Eric Karabell
  (11:57 AM)

Yep

Jim (Mobile, AL)

Howie Kendrick or Brett Gardner?

Eric Karabell
  (11:57 AM)

Howie

Matt (PHL)

Would you feel comfortable starting Brett Anderson @ BOS after leaving early last week with a sprained ankle?

Eric Karabell
  (11:58 AM)

Comfortable no, but I'd still do it.

Douglas (Pittsburgh)

Liriano set to debut in 2 weeks-ish. Can you resist?

Eric Karabell
  (11:58 AM)

Won't be anywhere near my teams, that's for sure.

Adam (Dover, DE)

Trade Pujols now?

Eric Karabell
  (11:58 AM)

Good luck with that.

Jake (Tampa bay)

Is it a matter of Hafner staying healthy or cooling down? Where do you see him ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:58 AM)

Health. But he can hit 20 homers. Ibanez had 19 for Yankees last year.

Mitch (NC)

Thoughts on HanRam ?

Eric Karabell
  (11:59 AM)

Get him now

Michael (DC)

You'd drop Avila for Ruiz, but what about Arencibia?

Eric Karabell
  (11:59 AM)

25 homers and .220. I'll pass.

Eric (CO)

Does Choo finish the season a top 15 OF?

Eric Karabell
  (11:59 AM)

Yes

Archer (Atlanta)

Rios or Jennings RoS

Eric Karabell
  (11:59 AM)

Rios

Chris (NY)

Bonafacio going to hit enough to steal or is he a utility player now?

Eric Karabell
  (12:00 PM)

Had his chance and blew it.
