Will is here!

Greg (FL)

What do you think is the biggest lesson you've learned from your three straight second place finishes in the points standings?

Will Power
  (2:36 PM)

I think the lesson is to get the most out of every situation, even when you're having a bad day. Even one position, those points you get really count in the end.

Cary (KC)

How do you like racing in Brazil? Do you like having the circuit race outside of the USA?

Will Power
  (2:36 PM)

I really racing in Brazil. It's a fantastic circuit. The fans are great. It seems every time we race outside of the country, we get a massive crowd. I do enjoy it.

Jeffrey Althage (Missouri, United States)

Hey Will,I was wondering how you felt about the aero kits scheduled for 2014?The field is so tight right now in times, do you hope it will spread everyone out a bit more?

Will Power
  (2:38 PM)

I hope it spreads us out. The way the car is right now, no one has an advantage. If you're a true sports lover, that's fantastic. You can never predict who will win. When you have different body kits, you'll have someone come out with something better than others. So yeah, it will probably spread out the field.

Mickey (Skaneateles, NY)

How has addition of AJ Allmendinger affected chemistry of Team Penske, working with you and Helio? Does anything from his Champ Car days translate to this car?

Will Power
  (2:38 PM)

AJ's been a great addition. He's quick and he brings something to the team as far as set up goes. He has a great sense of humor. Always laughing. Good energy between us drivers.

Bob (Waukesha Wisconsin USA)

Considering your superiority on road/street courses, would you still like to see more "flat" ovals on the series schedule?

Will Power
  (2:39 PM)

I think ovals are great when they have the correct formula as far as down force goes. I think the balance should be cut into three as equal to ovals, road and street courses. I think that's a good mix.

David (Wisconsin)

Thinking back to your days in Champ Car, is there any track(s) that you wish were now on the IndyCar schedule now?

Will Power
  (2:40 PM)

I think Road of America that is a track that a lot of drivers talk about that we'd like to get back to. Definitely.

James Piccarreto (Rochester, NY)

How do you feel about the month of May in Indianapolis and how you're running so far at this point of the season?

Will Power
  (2:41 PM)

I definitely see the month of May being very competitive. No manufacturer seems to have an upper hand. I think you'll see the strongest field in Indy 500 history.

Mike Byrnes (Easton, PA)

Will. Just wondering what your thoughts are on racing @poconoraceway? I was there for the Firestone Tire Test. Goodness, you fellas were movin down that front stretch!

Will Power
  (2:41 PM)

Definitely it's a nice track. It's very fast. I think with the long straight at the front, it should be good racing. I think everyone's looking forward to it.

Robert (GA)

favorite part about racing in Brazil?

Will Power
  (2:42 PM)

The best part is the track itself. Very nice course. And just as equal is how passionate the fans are.

Brent (VA)

Will there be much Bumping on Bump Day?

Will Power
  (2:43 PM)

Actually, I don't know. Maybe one or two cars. Obviously they keep switching. Even having two cars that bump can make it tough to get it, so yeah.

Zack (Ohio)

How good do you feel about the competition going into the Sao Paulo race?

Will Power
  (2:44 PM)

The way it has been, it's really hard to predict who will be where and how competitive we'll be. We hope to have a shot at the pole position. The main thing to me is the race. We have to have a good day.

william

is it too early to be looking at the points standings?

Will Power
  (2:45 PM)

The points are right there in front of you. You can't let the points lead grow too much. If you have too many bad races, it puts you out of contention. It's never over until it's over. It's amazing how it can flow and then you can start getting points and you're leading again.

Tom (New Hampshire)

Any comment on standing starts one way or another, and do you get any "feel" for the clutch?

Will Power
  (2:45 PM)

Yes, I'd love to see standing starts. I think it would be cool. The one thing that would be attractive to the fans is I think it is cool to hear the engines rev.

Austin Miller (Plainfield, IL)

How would you feel about having a night street course race? And do you think it's possible?

Will Power
  (2:46 PM)

Yeah, we've done it before. That's pretty cool. You see a lot of things glowing. I enjoy night races. I think they're most spectacular.

Derrick (NC)

What do you do to get yourself ready for a race?

Will Power
  (2:47 PM)

Race day, it's just a normal day. Eat good food, make sure you're hydrated. Focused on the right thing. That's all you can do.

Will Power
  (2:47 PM)

Thanks for the questions. Keep watching and enjoy the IndyCar racing!
