Steve is here!

Michael Dominguez (Tucson, AZ)

What is your favorite memory of your career in the NBA???

Steve Nash
  (1:04 PM)

I can never really answer that question, because it all blends into one. The things that are on the top of my mind in my career are my teammates. The relationships. All of the time spent together traveling around the country playing basketball. It always comes back to my teammates and all the guys I've gotten to know.

Deven (New York, NY)

Since your working with Sprint, are your a Technology buff?

Steve Nash
  (1:04 PM)

I wouldn't say that by any stretch, but society and technology has come so far. In some ways I never thought I would have this much of an inclination toward technology, but by no stretch am I a tech buff.

Stall (Phoenix)

Is there an NBA front office job in your post-player future, or will you focus more time with your soccer club?

Steve Nash
  (1:05 PM)

I would like to stay in touch with the game of basketball, so I could work in the front office. But I'm focused on finishing my career strong.

Deven (New York, NY)

What was it like passing Magic Johnson, a Laker great, for all-time assists?

Steve Nash
  (1:06 PM)

Crazy. I was somebody who grew up watching Magic play and idolizing him. In some ways I still feel like an underdog, that I have a lot to prove. To be on the same list as him is unfathomable.

Ryan (DAllas)

how did you get hooked up with Sprint?

Steve Nash
  (1:07 PM)

They do some great things. They did a recycle phone program around Earth Day. So many phones get thrown away and hurt the environment. The fact that they help the environment first linked us up. But it's been a fun partnership.

Kyle (Denver)

As a fellow SCU grad, how do you look back on your days in the Bay Area and how did playing at a small school affect they way you play today?

Steve Nash
  (1:08 PM)

I love the Bay Area. Santa Clara was a fantastic experience for me. It was my only scholarships. I grew up a lot there. I learned to play at a new level. I was always in the gym. I had some great teammates. It was a special four years.

Corey (Stillwater, OK)

How does playing for mike d'antoni's team in LA differ from playing for him in phoenix when you were running the "7 Seconds or Less" offense?

Steve Nash
  (1:09 PM)

It's a lot different. We didn't have a training camp. We didn't get a chance to play his style. And we have different personnel. The style is adjusted a little bit to the personnel. But through a training camp you can adjust more. We're still learning, still adjusting. I love playing for Mike.

Jason (Ellicott City, MD)

Who have you taken a charge from that you wish you didn't?

Steve Nash
  (1:09 PM)

I think I took one on Shaq once. It launched me against the basket support. I don't remember if it hurt now, but I remember it was funny because I went flying. The physics of the two bodies was a mismatch to say the least.

Deven (New York, NY)

How are your injuries feeling as of right now?

Steve Nash
  (1:10 PM)

I'm working my way out of it. I'm still not 100%. I'm working, rehabbing twice a day. Hopefully I'll be back in the next couple of weeks. I'm grinding. Hopefully I'll have a much better year next year.

ODB (Phoenix)

What is your favorite TV show, Steve? What ones will you be catching up on over the summer?

Steve Nash
  (1:11 PM)

Breaking Bad. I'm looking forward to that. I watch a lot of HBO shows. Mad Men. I watch all of those. It's a good way to relax after the workouts.

Martin (NY)

As a visiting player, what are some of your favorite places to play? MSG on the list?

Steve Nash
  (1:11 PM)

I love playing in the Garden. New York is the mecca of basketball. I have a lot of friends there as well. I love playing in Toronto, being Canadian. And playing in Staples is a great place to call home.

Keith (New York)

Who are your NBA Finals picks?

Steve Nash
  (1:13 PM)

I have to say Miami is the favorite. San Antonio and their experience has to be in the driver's seat. But anything can happen. If a key player gets injured and Miami loses a player, Indiana can win. Any team can find themselves in the Finals very easy.

Angelo (Manila)

Who do you think is the best defender that you've played against this season?

Steve Nash
  (1:13 PM)

Hmmm...good question. I don't know. I think Mike Conley is a good defender. He's fast. Gets a lot of steals.

Kush (Phoenix)

Hi Steve, Will you train on the soccer field like in seasons prior? Love that you are doing this chat!

Steve Nash
  (1:14 PM)

I always want to play soccer. It's a great opportunity to get away from basketball. It's a multi directional sport with quickness and speed. It depends on how my body is doing. The priority is to get on the court and get myself in great shape.

Rocco (jersey)

Steve who u got in the champions league final?? gotta go with Bayern

Steve Nash
  (1:15 PM)

I'm going to say Bayern. Hopefully it's a great final. They know each other well.

Gilbert (san antonio)

what do you think other than staying healthy the Lakes need next year?

Steve Nash
  (1:15 PM)

I think we need time together. Training camp with Mike. An opportunity to play together. And you don't know how the roster will be rounded out next year. That will be key as well.

Steve Nash
  (1:16 PM)

I've spent 10 summers there. I love to go out and eat. I play on two soccer teams. I have a personal trainer there. I love it there because you walk out and the whole world is there. Different countries and cultures.

Steve Nash
  (1:17 PM)

Thanks a lot for taking part in the chat. Check out the HTC One and what Sprint is doing. There's a lot of good things there.
