Hey everyone, let's get rolling:
Do the Seahawks have an unfair playing in a stadium that is designed to hold sound in?
Maybe every staidum should be built that way.
With this latest blowout loss to the Seahawks should the 49ers be concerned about their reign as division champs?
Sure, but it's ealry and the 49ers knew how good Seattle is. In the end, it's just one loss.
When will the 9ers start incorporating Kendalle Hunter more in the offense, no disrespect to Frank but there's nothing like fresh legs...
I would expect soon. He needs to get a look.
So what's Eric Mangini been up to? Haven't heard too much about him lately... Sure would've been nice to see him try and game plan against the She-hawks defense last week... Yep, upset 49er fan here...
He is part of the game plan every week. OC greg Roman praised him like crazy alst week after the Green Bay game.
How much will the 49ers receivers hurt them this year when facing an elite CB?
Well, it was bad against an elite CB. So, there has to be some level of concern.
Hey Bill! How much of an effect does the Seattle loss have on the mindset and momentum of the 49ers?Also what do you think Kaepernick's chances of being MVP are?
From being around the tema yesterday, it seems to ahve had little affect. Team is jovial.
What are the biggest differences between Ian Williams and Dorsey in terms of talent, endurance, and style of play? How much is this going to impact the Niners D-line?
Dorsye may be the better all-around player. Endurance is the key. Did a post on it today.
After the way the 49ers lost on Sunday, if it boiled down to it, could the 49ers beat the Seahawks in a playoff game if they have to travel to Seattle?
Really good question. Offense would have to be much, much tighter. Remember, the San francisco defense did pretty well in that game. Well enough to help it win. Loss was on the offense.
Last week it seems as though a more physical WR presence (Jon Baldwin) would've been a big help in getting better looks against the Seattle secondary. Any idea if/when we see Baldwin in gameday action?
I'm interested, too. He's been here a while now. it's tiem for him to start making a move.
Is Nnamdi as bad as I think he looks? He doesn't look for the ball and he can't tackle.
He's fallen off form the Oakland days, that's for sure.
Hey Bill - Are folks overreacting a little to the 49ers running game problems? Or is this an issue of moving from the power running game they had with Alex Smith versus the pistol look they're using more for Kap?
It's two games. Everything is overreacting, both the good and the bad.
Did 49ers have to scramble to find film of Trent Richardson?
They ahd it. But yes, it was a scramble.
From watching the last game, Colin appeared to throw the ball away a cople times when he had open running lanes for the first down. Do you think the coaches are directing running QBs to run less to avoid injuries? Will that kind of mindset take away from his effectivness?
I noticed that, too. I think it was just the game plan and he was a little hesitiant. He needs to go when he can go. He was just of sorts Sunday.
Is F.Gore done and we don't know yet?
Not sure if he's done, but the time is probably near.
Hey Bill, I've enjoyed your addition to the blog. Who will be the unexpected hero of this game?
Thanks ... Vance McDonald perhaps with Davis gimpy.
Bill big fan hope two questions 1. Is browner quietly better then Richard Sherman and the tougher matchup for boldin? 2. If your starting a team from.scratch how many qbs you taking over kaepernick ? Rodgers? Luck? That's the only two for me?
Thanks ....1. Sherman is pretty god, man.2. I'm a Luck guy.
Bill, Please remind everyone the Seattle has to prove that it can win a 10 o'clock game on the road. They have not earned home field yet and teams with a way easier schedule (like the NFC South) can easily be 12-4 or 13-3.
Here's the reminder.
It looks like the coaches have specifically told Kaepernick NOT to run. Surely other teams have noticed this as well. With that threat removed, it totally changes the dynamic of the 49ers' offense. Is this something Harbaugh will go back to - similar to how they went away from the read option for a month before the playoffs last season - or is this a fundamental shift in philosophy?
I couldn't imagine they will take that dymanic away from Kaepernick. Game plans change week-to-week. I really expect to see him run often this week. Terrelle Pryor had 112 rushing yards against the Colts. It was duly noted.
Any chance the Niners might entertain trading for a guy like Britt? He's a pending free agent so no long term commitment, plus he's fallen out of favor in Ten and I'm sure they'd love to dump him for a late pick. Harbaugh may be able to get someone like Britt focused and if not they can always cut him.
I'm not a Britt guy. 99 problems.
With the Seahawks going for the guiness record for loudest stadium does that mean there will finally be people there checking to make sure there are no hidden microphones doubling crowd noise through the speakers?
