Hey folks. Eric Dickerson himself is here to take your questions. He'll be here in a minute or so.

Evan (Chicago)

Adrian Peterson continues to lay siege on your rushing record....do you think he'll get it?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:06 PM)

No. I don't think he'll ever get it. It's like all of us backs, you only have a small window. I was fortunate to get it in my second year. As a player, I think Adrian is a great player. If anyone in the league is capable, it's him. Do I want him to get it, hell no.

Tim (Boston)

Madden started during the midde of your career....how big have video games gotten since your career ended?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:07 PM)

Oh my gosh, they're off the chain. We used to play it on Nintendo. Many people probably don't know what that is. I think some people like playing the video games more than the sport, because they're in control.

hal (LA)

How did you find out about the settlement talks?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:08 PM)

Through phone calls and text messages players were sending me. Then I looked at my e-mails.

Eric Dickerson
  (1:08 PM)

Then the lawyer called me, my good friend Walter, who took on the case for us.

victor (Monroe)

Hi Eric who do you think will win the super bowl this year?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:10 PM)

Victor, I have no idea. The season hasn't even started yet. The preseason means nothing. Everybody has a shot. Even the Cleveland Browns and the poor Arizona Cardinals and last, but not least, my Rams. They're all 0-0. By week 8 or 9, you'll have a good insight on that.

Jesse Dollar (Conyers, GA)

how much does your body hurt after getting hit in the nfl for all those years?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:10 PM)

Jesse, good, bad and good and bad. I have good days and bad days. Today is a good day. Last night was a bad night. Couldn't sleep. Didn't sleep until 4 and had to get up at 7. Have a lot of headaches.

Eric Dickerson
  (1:10 PM)

But I'm blessed to be alive.

Drew (DC)

do you still have some of your awesome glasses you worE?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:11 PM)

Drew in DC, yes. I have my original Rec Specs. They are ugly as ever, and I hated wearing them, but I couldn't see.

Jason (ATL)

how cool is it to have someone on the cover of Madden that played around the time that you did?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:12 PM)

It's cool, because we aren't totally forgotten about.

Jeff (DC)

Would you be happy if the settlement happens as the reports say it will?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:13 PM)

Honestly, it's OK. It's nothing monumental. But I can say it's a start, but that's where it's going to end. The only thing I'm concerned about is the health care for the players. Guys to have insurance to go to the doctors, have surgeries, pay for medication. That seems simple when you have health insurance, but most retired players dont. I was fortunate that I always kept insurance. Even when I played, I had my own secondary insurance. That's one of my mother's big things keep insurance on yourself, house and cars.

Andrew Z. (Struthers, OH)

How has the game changed since you've retired?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:14 PM)

I think social media. They are so quick to make a player a great player or he is this and phenomenal, because you get to see him on ESPN or on Monday night. That's one of the big things. The way the game has expanded, worldwide. In 1983, if you wanted to watch a game, you had to have a satelitte or go to a bar. Now you can watch every game in your house. Or you buy the 25th anniversary edition of Madden and you get DirectTV for free.

Will (TX)

how big of a gamer are you?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:15 PM)

I love video games to death. I love Madden football. My little cousins, they beat up on me. They give me 20 point leads and I still can't win. I play them all. I play Splinter Cell right now. I don't play online, I just play against the computer. I'm that kind of player.

Kevin (Seattle)

You had some good years in LA...so how weird is it to see the NFL with no teams in the city?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:17 PM)

Very weird. But after a while, you get used to it. Should they have a team? Most definitely. It would be nice to have the Rams back in L.A.

Andrew Z. (Struthers, OH)

What're your thoughts on an 18 game regular season schedule?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:18 PM)

I think it's crazy. I think it's crazy. You want to have more injuries? You want to cut careers shorter? Then go ahead. They'll probably do it to. I think 4 preseason games is too many too. The NFL is about tackling, hitting, running through things. If they don't want to see you go to Madden football and not real football, stay away from that.

Andrew Z. (Struthers, OH)

What's the most memorable moment of your career?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:19 PM)

Greg, that's a good question. I have a few. I guess the one that I can remember the most is when I got over 2,000 yards, not when I set the record. Jeff Kemp got in the huddle and said asked what play I wanted, I said 47 Gap. I got 8 or 9 yards.

Chris Fiegler (Latham,NY)

Who do you think is the Best Running Back that you have seen in the NFL Right Now?

Eric Dickerson
  (1:20 PM)

Adrian Peterson is the best. And I think he's also the one that most resembles my game, but not really. He's the closest. As a back, every guy has their own style. It's not something you try to do or emulate, it's just you.

Eric Dickerson
  (1:21 PM)

Thanks for being a fan. Thanks for all of the support over the years.

Eric Dickerson
  (1:21 PM)

Let's keep that record in tact!
