Fight fans! Curtis Stevens will be here at noon ET to take your questions!

Buzzmaster
  (11:42 AM)

Gennady Golovkin will be by at 3 p.m. ET! Send your questions in now for both fighters!

Jimmy (Arlington, Va)

Since Golovkin is going to come right at you, does that make it an easy fight for you, especially compared to fighting a slick boxer?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:04 PM)

It's boxing, so we'll fight as long as it lasts. Of course, if he comes at me, that's my specialty. It will be great.

Felix (Boston)

You bringing the coffin to NYC?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:04 PM)

It's already in NYC.

Jimmy (Arlington, Va)

Hey Curtis, do you think GGG has ever faced someone who can punch as hard as you? And do you think he can sustain your punches for very long, or is this going to be an early night?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:05 PM)

No, he's never fought anybody who has the power that I do. I don't know how durable his chin is, but I don't think anyone in middleweight can take the power that I have. That I possess.

James (Portland, ME)

Curtis, who were some of the fighters you admired growing up

Curtis Stevens
  (12:05 PM)

Roberto Duran. Hagler. Tyson. Gatti. Zab Judah.

Gabe Saginaw Mi [via mobile]

What will you do different than any other fighter GGG has faced?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:06 PM)

I'm not going to be scared of him. I'm coming to fight.

James (Portland, ME)

For Curtis...what do you see in Golovkin that you might be able to take advantage of?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:07 PM)

He does a lot of things wrong. I won't say it, because if I do, he'll try to fix it. I can't let everybody know. You'll just have to tune into HBO on Nov. 2.

Shamarko (Dorchester, MA)

Do you see yourself winning titles in higher weight classes like Light Heavy or even Cruiser weight?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:07 PM)

I was light heavyweight and around there when I first turned pro. If the right opportunity came around, maybe, but as of right now, no.

Jimmy (Arlington, Va)

Curtis, do you think Glovkin's punches will affect you at all, or is your chin just that tough?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:08 PM)

I have a tough chin. But it only takes 7 ounces of pressure to knock you down. Who knows. Everyone reacts differently to others' power. If I get knocked down, I'll get back up. I'm coming to fight.

Mario (Houston, TX)

Will GGG be the biggest puncher you have faced?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:09 PM)

I don't know how powerful he is, since I haven't gotten in there yet. I fought light heavyweight, so I've been hit by big guys before. So, no I don't think he'll be the hardest person that I have ever been hit by before, no. I fought heavyweights before I turned pro.

Julian (Dallas/TX)

What do you think your advantages are over GGG, are you faster? stronger? quicker? mentally tougher?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:11 PM)

I know I'm more powerful than him. I forget how many first round KOs I have. I am stronger, bigger physically. I know I'm much quicker than him. I can fight. I can have power shots. Speed, we'll have to see Nov. 2. But I'm a strong, mental fighter.

Joydeep (Philippines)

How's sparring been going? Are you going to be pressing the action from the get go since you're the shorter fighter?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:12 PM)

Sparring is very good. I believe I had about 6 different sparring partners. Everyone's styles are different. Some are about Gennady's height. Some are faster. Some are stronger. Differenct scenarios. Maybe he won't come at me. Maybe he tries to box. We're just trying to cover everything.

Curtis Stevens
  (12:12 PM)

And I'll be pressing things, but also boxing smart.

Julian (Dallas/TX)

What have you learned, if anyhting from watching GGG last 3-4 fights?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:13 PM)

He comes to fight.

Felix (Boston)

How much of Brooklyn is showing up on November 2?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:14 PM)

I am sure there will be a lot of people there. The only thing I'm worried about is me and him. And the ref, but the referee can't help him.

Jimmy (Arlington, Va)

Does fighting in New York motivate you, or do you have the any place--anytime mentality where it doesn't matter where you fight?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:15 PM)

It's good to fight close to home. You don't have to fly anywhere. I already know the city. I go about my day much easier than you would anywhere else. Your fans are there. You have homefield advantage like when the Jets or Giants or Yankees are playing. But it really doesn't matter during the fight, because there are only two people in the ring. Only two people that can fight.

Joey (New Jersey)

What is different about this Curtis compared to the one who fought Jesse Brinkley?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:16 PM)

More focused. I have a gameplan. Against Brinkley, I was just going in there to get a knockout. I wanted to go in there and hit him and he would go down. The gameplan I had in my mind didn't happen. I kept trying to do it and it didn't work. I'm more humble. This is for the world title. I'm more focused than ever.

Mike (Cleveland)

You are considered a significant underdog against GGG. Does that give you extra motivation?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:18 PM)

It's OK. Everyone has their own opinions. People favor who they want to win in any sport. It ticks me off that people say I'll get knocked out. Who are they to say he's going to do all of these things to me when he hasn't fought anyone? Other than Macklin, but he was scared. He wore guys down in the other fights or the guys' eye was swollen. This wrecking maching that people say he is, he's not knocking people down in the first round. It's only one opinion. Put your money on Gennady.

Jon (Texas)

Do you plan on staying at middleweight, win or lose?

Curtis Stevens
  (12:19 PM)

After I whoop Gennady Nov. 2, I don't know. I may stay at 160. May relinquish the title and move down to 154. Who knows. My mind is only in one place and focusing on Gennady.

Curtis Stevens
  (12:20 PM)

Thank you to the fans. Come Nov. 2 I will win. Thanks for sticking by me. I will bring the championship back to the United States.

Buzzmaster
  (12:26 PM)

Thanks for chatting Curtis! Gennady Golovkin will be by at 3 p.m. ET to chat next!

Buzzmaster
  (3:00 PM)

Gennady is here!

Ken (Queens)

Hi Gennady, Good luck against Stevens. Do you run sprints as part of your training? Thanks

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:01 PM)

My training camp is very good for me right now. I do a lot of jogging.

Chris (L.A.)

what do you hate the most about camp?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:02 PM)

I have my time, my power, my speed. Everything is going great in camp. It's very important for me in camp.

Ken (ca.)

Gennady, I know you have a solid chin, but how do you avoid Stevens power with your pressure style of boxing?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:05 PM)

I think is a strong guy. He has a good punch. I don't know if he's a good boxer or not. I've seen a couple of his fights. He's a good puncher.

James (Portland, ME)

Gennady, which boxers did you look up to when you were younger and what got you started in the sport?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:06 PM)

Oh, I like the champions. I like a lot of the champions. Sugar Ray Robinson. Sugar Ray Leonard. Roy Jones. Muhammed Ali. Floyd Mayweather. I like all of the champions.

James (Portland, ME)

Gennady, what would you say is the best win of your career to this point?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:07 PM)

I don't know. Macklin. He was top rated at the time.

Julian (Dallas/TX)

What advantages over him do you have you think? are you smarter? quicker?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:08 PM)

I think he has power, strong punches. But right now he is the biggest obstacle for me.

Ken (ca.)

Who is the number one fighter you would like to defend your belt against?

Steven (Long Island, NY)

Gennady, If you could step into the ring against any fighter - past OR present, who would your dream opponent be?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:11 PM)

Right now, I want the unification. I want the belts at 160.

Sunny (Oakland, CA)

How many sparring partners have you gone through already in camp?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:11 PM)

Right now 3 sparring partners.

Jamie ( NH)

Is Stevens's trash talk supplying you with any additional motivation for this fight?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:12 PM)

Yeah. That is motivation. He has a big mouth. He is talking, talking, talking too much.

Julian (Dallas/TX)

Could you drop down to 152 to face mayweather without weakening your self they way Canelo looked?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:12 PM)

Yeah, why not? Yes.

Ken (NYC)

How proud are you of being on the cover of Ring Magazine?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:14 PM)

It is cool. It was very cool. I liked doing it. It's good for me, my family, my fans.

Fran

Have you picked your entrance music yet?

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:16 PM)

Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. Turned up real loud. And probably a special entrance as well.

Gennady Golovkin
  (3:16 PM)

I hope the fans will be ready to watch the fight Nov. 2. It will be a great show. Watch it on HBO.

Buzzmaster
