Gaining weight. Sprints.

Karim Mayfield

Before, the area I came up in, it wasn't the wild, wild west, we were fighting. There was a lot of street fighting. I wasn't scared. There aren't weight classes in the streets.

Chris (NY)

what have been your favorite places to fight?

Karim Mayfield
  (11:08 AM)

New York. Upstate. I've had some fights there. Niagara Falls. I went to see Harriet Tubman's house. That was really cool. And the boxing hall of fame.

Joshua (NY)

How much can u bench press

Karim Mayfield
  (11:09 AM)

I don't do much lifting, but last I checked I think I did 235. But I have a lot of creatine in my system naturally, so I get bulky too fast.

Karim Mayfield
  (11:09 AM)

I'm very excited. I finally get to fight on network TV is always great. Better opponent and better payday.

Dan (St. Louis)

Who is your favorite fighter of all time?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:51 AM)

I have three, but if I have to choose just one, I choose Sugar Ray Leonard.

Ryan (NC)

How great is it being in Robert's gym with all of the other great fighters he trains?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:52 AM)

Definitely, the training camp with Robert is great. I have been learning a lot. I'm very excited for Saturday, I know I'm ready. Traning camp has been great.

Brock (Teasberry, AK)

Thomas, how much did you learn from your first defeat against such a big puncher in Abregu?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:53 AM)

That fight was a learning experience, but it's the same when you win. When you train, you learn every day. Now we are down to 140 and feel great. It's a learning process each day.

Chris (DC)

What do you think is your biggest advantage?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:54 AM)

My boxing skills are my advantage. Also, my quickness. I'm very fast. It will be a great fight, but my skills will help me.

David (CA) [via mobile]

How do you physically feel having shed those extra lbs to come down to 140?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:55 AM)

I'm losing the weight very well. I feel stronger, faster. I feel like I can be in this division for a while. I feel great.

Neal (Miami)

What do you hate about campe the most?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:56 AM)

I love everything about my training camp. I always lose the weight right. I love everything. That's why I chose to be a boxer. I love it all, believe it or not.

Aaron (LA)

Who wins the main event with Kovalev and Agnew?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:57 AM)

I really haven't paid much attention to that fight. I'm really focused on that fight. I don't know them. I'm just training hard every day. I don't watch the news or anything. I don't know.

Jason (Philly)

you fought 4 times last year...do you like fighting that much?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:58 AM)

Yeah, definitely. The amount of fights depends on what happens during the fights and the promoters decisions. But I train every day. I am ready to fight 4 times per year. I would like to fight 4 times per year, yes.

Tito's Punch (Puerto Rico)

Mayfield suggested that you have a weak chin. What is your response to those comments?

Thomas Dulorme
  (11:59 AM)

By the way that Mayfield is talking, he may have fear. He likes to talk. But I really don't care what he says. I know that I will talk a lot on Saturday night, using my hands.

Nick (NC)

What's been the best part about training with Robert?

Thomas Dulorme
  (12:00 PM)

In training camp, it was great. He was always with me and his assistant too. It was a great learning experience. I can't complain. I'm very happy.

Kevin (PA)

is your game plan to come out aggressive?

Thomas Dulorme
  (12:01 PM)

We have different plans. That's what boxing is all about. It depends on what Mayfield brings to the ring, to be aggressive or technical. It depends on what Mayfield brings to the ring.

Vick (Philly)

how many more fights do you think you need before you get a title fight?

Thomas Dulorme
  (12:01 PM)

Once I get the victory Saturday, I'm ready.

Ryan (LA)

how much sparring have you done?

Thomas Dulorme
  (12:03 PM)

The sparring has been great. I don't know the amount of rounds, but I have been helped by Felix Diaz, an Olympian. There was a guy with a nickname of Maniac. There were others that I don't really know their names, but they were great to spar with.

Bo (Auburn)

How often do you get recognized in public in the United States for being a big-time boxing prospect?

Thomas Dulorme
  (12:04 PM)

The fans in Puerto Rico are always showing me great support. Now, I'm noticing more support with the fans in the U.S. and Mexico. It's been great. I'm always receiving messages from all around the world, especially, Puerto Rico and the U.S. I'm happy about that. It's real motivation.

Thomas Dulorme
  (12:05 PM)

Thank you to ESPN for this opportunity to chat. I want to thank all of the fans for being in the chat. You can expect a good fight Saturday. I will give you all a good fight.
