Fantasy MLB with Eric Karabell

Eric Karabell
  (11:01 AM)

Hello and welcome to the latest fantasy sports chat session! Big day today, the final one of April, and that means we've got 5 more months of awesome baseball! Also, NFL draft is in a week! Are you ready? Thanks for reading and here we go!

Nolan (STL)

Does Ellsbury's injury worry you? I am close to trading for him.

Eric Karabell
  (11:01 AM)

Doesn't worry me yet. Guys will miss games here and there and certainly him more than most, but he's been productive and this seems like a minor hand thing.

Adam (Detroit)

Weekly Gregory Polanco question, any new news on a call up or same answer as every week?

Eric Karabell
  (11:02 AM)

I could see the Bucs bringing him up in May, but for those that think Polanco is going to fix everything on that team, that's a mistake. He's not gonna be Mike Trout.

Adam (Detroit)

I'm planning on streaming Josh Collmenter of Arizona today, bad idea or good idea?

Eric Karabell
  (11:03 AM)

In general not a good idea and frankly the way the Diamondbacks are playing, it's tough to recommend any of their options past the obvious.

Rob (Bronx, NY)

I really don't want to hold both Johnson and Gregerson because I have to pick up an offensive replacement. Is is safe to drop Gregerson? Or would you rather keep both and drop Jason Hammel instead? Thanks.

Eric Karabell
  (11:03 AM)

I don't think Hammel is special, but more a spot starter type depending on matchups. But I also think Jim Johnson gets the next save chance and 40 more. Up to him if pitches well but he seems back on track.

Eric (Romeo, MI)

On yesterday's podcast you and Tristan had Manny Machado just outside the top 100. How far does he drop in an OBP league?

Eric Karabell
  (11:04 AM)

Obviously he's not going to walk much so he'd drop a few more rounds after that. But it will be nice to see him back. Truly fun to watch, especially defensively.

Adam (Detroit)

Add Trevor Bauer or are the Indians going to add someone else as the 5th starter?

Eric Karabell
  (11:04 AM)

It's probably Bauer and from all indications he's fixed whatever was wrong and we'll finally see his upside. I am buying for sure. Certainly no Carlos Carrasco can hold Bauer back.

Roger (Indiana)

Brandon Phillips worth a waiver pick-up?

Eric Karabell
  (11:05 AM)

Depends on what else you've got but from what I've seen there's considerably more regression than even the pessimists believed. He's had so many chances to "knock in runs" like last year and hasn't done it. No speed. Not driving the ball. It's happening.

Matt (MPLS)

What kind of numbers to you see Plouffe finishing with? Thanks EK

Eric Karabell
  (11:06 AM)

If he stays healthy, about .260 with 17 and 70. Sell quickly.

Drew (NJ)

Hey Eric, suggestion for the PodCast; are there more injuries than normal this year? Obviously there has been a lot of TJ injuries but what about position players? I started the season w/ Hamilton, Trumbo, Harper, & now Kipnis... what gives?

Eric Karabell
  (11:07 AM)

Just bad luck. We say it every year but I bet if someone did the research we'd find there are hitter injuries every year. There are more Tommy John surgeries now but honestly some of those pitchers were not fantasy factors. So I'd say it's just bad luck for you. Plus, Hamilton, Harper got hurt last year. We can't be too surprised.

GY (NJ)

Do you think Mark Trumbo is worth stashing away or is he going to be done for the year? And what kind of season do you think Doug Fister will have when he returns?

Eric Karabell
  (11:08 AM)

I think Trumbo is worth keeping if you have the room. We know what he is and that does have value. I don't expect him back until mid-June at least. And yes, Fister will be good. Nothing's changed with him and now he's healthy.

Alfredo, arizona [via mobile]

Would you trade Albert Pujols for Carlos Gonzalez? I have Pujols, thanks

Eric Karabell
  (11:09 AM)

Yes I would. And I've been on the Pujols bandwagon a while. But that is selling high and CarGo is a first-rounder.

Matt (MPLS)

Time to say good bye to Sergio Santos?

Eric Karabell
  (11:09 AM)

Can't cut anyone that is currently a closer and let's face it, he's a closer. Just a wild one right now. I don't know if Janssen is back in a week or 10 weeks.

Matt (MPLS)

Texiera worth owning in a 12 team league? Just sitting on WW right now.

Eric Karabell
  (11:10 AM)

Hitting for power so it depends on what you're dropping. Yes, he is worth owning.

Starling Marte (Pittsburgh)

What should owners do with the K-machine Starling Marte? I was offered Domonic Brown for Starling Marte. Which side do you like best? Thanks!

Eric Karabell
  (11:11 AM)

Brown is doing nothing himself, showing no power. At least Marte can steal 40 bases. I'll take Marte. Yes, striking out more than last year but still a speedster. Brown concerns me. It's why I didn't draft him on any teams and worked hard to trade him in a dynasty format.

Gary (Florida) [via mobile]

I can't bring myself to follow your advice and start Ross tonight vs an A's lineup that hits pretty well. You have any other suggestions?

Eric Karabell
  (11:11 AM)

Nah, I think going against my advice is a pretty good start! I like Eovaldi more.

Michael (Milwaukee)

Buy low on George Springer?

Eric Karabell
  (11:12 AM)

Definitely. I think it's foolish how many people tripped over themselves to get the guy and then 2 weeks later were dropping him when he didn't hit. It's a six month season. Gotta be patient. Springer will be terrific.

Jake (Dallas)

Hey Eric. You and Tristan are doing great work on the show, it's refreshing. I, like you, am worried about Prince. Is Chris Davis (even with the injury) a worthwhile upgrade? At this point, do you even prefer Abreu over Prince?

Eric Karabell
  (11:13 AM)

Thank you, Jake. I think Prince will get going soon but my overall rankings haven't changed much. It's just not enough time. And I would rather have Davis over Prince. I would not exalt Abreu to quite the level of Prince yet!

Gary (Florida)

Do you think Buchholz ever returns to his form from the 1st half of last season? His performance says no, but I can't help but think he's better than this.

Eric Karabell
  (11:14 AM)

He is better than this, but I think something's wrong with him. Velocity is down and durability always an issue.

BK (PA)

Khris Davis droppable in 12 team?

Eric Karabell
  (11:14 AM)

Not walking at all but he is hitting doubles and that's a good sign. I'd keep him active but yes, in big picture, he doesn't need to be owned.

Marcus Stroman (Toronto)

6inn no hit 10Ks! I am getting called up next week right?

Eric Karabell
  (11:15 AM)

Well, it's not like McGowan was bad Tuesday. I think the Jays will make room in 2 weeks.

Payton (Boulder) [via mobile]

Any chance Melancon wins closer role in Grilli's absence? Also, should I add Trevor Bauer in a ten team league?

Eric Karabell
  (11:16 AM)

I think Melancon clearly is the closer with Grilli out. He doesn't need to do anything but just pitch. And in 10-teamer probably not, but Bauer does have nice upside. Depends on who you drop.

Bob (PA)

Springer or Polanco, biggest impact this year?

Eric Karabell
  (11:16 AM)

I still think it's Springer and the fact so many have changed their mind off a guy that went 37-homer, 45-steal last year because of what, a few weeks, for a guy that still hasn't made his big league debut and could easily struggle just the same, is a bit odd.

vic (no cal)

Brian Dozier is on pace to put up some ridiculous counting stats. Could he go 25/25 with 110 runs?

Eric Karabell
  (11:17 AM)

He does look great. Not in batting average but the pop, the speed, the walks. Underestimated him.

Rick (NH)

Where would you rank Middlebrooks among 3b?

Eric Karabell
  (11:18 AM)

Not top 10, but not far from it. I think he's got 25 homers in him.

Nick (St. Louis)

Read your article today on Cespedes. Good read! I am a Bryce Harper owner and am curious if I should consider trading Harper for Cespedes and say a top 30-35 starter?

Eric Karabell
  (11:18 AM)

Thanks! That's fair. I do like Harper but he's out 2 months, so if you can get another top-50 option plus more, go for it. Unless it's a keeper! Harper is still going to be great. Really he will be.

Nate (Columbus)

Is Machado an elite option in keeper leagues?

Eric Karabell
  (11:19 AM)

He is an elite option, yes. Will develop power soon.

Steve Michigan [via mobile]

I just want to get rid of beltre, who can I get?

Eric Karabell
  (11:19 AM)

Pretty much whatever you want. He's a top-10 player. But I'd keep him.

Charles (DFW)

Got some pitching depth and need to make a move... Who would get me the best return right now - Bauer, Minor, AWood or Estrada?

Eric Karabell
  (11:20 AM)

Wood would get the most back, but you might have waited a day too long. Bauer is also held in such high regard today, before the promotion, it's asking a lot for him to achieve expectations.

Sam (Chicago)

Hold Kluber in a 12 team league after last night's start, or dump him for the potential of a guy like Stroman?

Eric Karabell
  (11:21 AM)

Amazing how quickly things change. Kluber throws a great game last week and he's loved, now he's not. Depends on what you need. I think it's silly to presume Stroman will be great immediately upon promotion, but once in a while guys are. Kluber is safer for wins and Ks and starts.

P (VA)

would you drop K. Davis from a bench role to stash G. Polanco?

Eric Karabell
  (11:21 AM)

Probably. But Davis is still going to get 500 at-bats and hit 20 homers.

James (San Diego)

Why do people get so down on Jay Bruce? Like a 30 homer, 100 RBI guy is suddenly not a good thing? Am I missing something?

Eric Karabell
  (11:22 AM)

I don't get it either. Numbers are there every year. He can just be streaky, but we should ignore that.

John (Austin, TX)

I know you're saying hold Springer...he's still on waivers in my league...would you drop Austin Jackson or Alex Gordon for him? Does he have the upside over those players to make it a no-brainer?

Eric Karabell
  (11:23 AM)

Not a no-brainer, but neither of those guys is going to steal 20 bases for sure. And hit 20 homers. I think Springer can. Springer has more upside, yes. But his watchers can't dissect every game. It's a 6-month thing and he'll get the numbers.

Quinn (Austin, TX)

Colabello or Middlebrooks ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:24 AM)

It's definitely Middlebrooks for me. Colabello is not a prospect. Not much upside there even if he hits cleanup all year.

Matt (MPLS)

What do you think Belt finishes with? Getting a few trade offers, but I feel I am selling low since he is in a slump. Thanks.

Eric Karabell
  (11:24 AM)

You probably are. It's not a good time to trade him. He's not walking and I feel like with Belt it never ends, the drama.

Keith (LA)

Chances Abreu ends up more valuable in fantasy this year than Votto? I love Votto but his multiple walks every game do not help unless he scores.

Eric Karabell
  (11:25 AM)

That just sounds ridiculous to me. Walking is a good thing. And Votto is pretty great. Yes, there is a chance Abreu is better and he does have legit power but I can't take Abreu over Votto yet.

Grant (Seattle)

Was Hosmer over-hyped this off-season? What do you project for him?

Eric Karabell
  (11:26 AM)

Nope, he's a really good player that had an ordinary April. I project better 2014 stats than 2013. Yep.

Jon (MN)

RE: Springer, would you trade Lawrie for him? Dynasty League

Eric Karabell
  (11:26 AM)

I would prefer Springer in a dynasty league, yes.

tom (oakland)

Justin Morneau is looking very good, and we still haven't hit the summer months at Coors Field. .300/30/90 doable?

Eric Karabell
  (11:27 AM)

Nothing would shock me I suppose, but 30 homers? That's a lot. I could see the batting average and RBI in theory, but not 30 homers.

Andy (Austin, TX)

Do you think Allen Craig finishes the year w/ 100 RBIs?

Eric Karabell
  (11:27 AM)

At this point I do not, but I am still a fan and would buy low.

Brendon (Arizona)

I have Johnny Cueto who has been stellar so far. Should I try and sell high before he gets hurt? How good could he be if he stays healthy all season?

Eric Karabell
  (11:28 AM)

He could win Cy Young the way he's going, but the fact he's averaged 22 starts over 3 years concerns me and I would look to sell high.

Victor (New York)

Is Will Venable safe to drop? Need to activate Victorino from the DL. Thanks!

Eric Karabell
  (11:29 AM)

Safe to drop? I think Venable will start hitting soon but if you need Victorino, then yes, I'd make that switch. But it's tough to say safe to drop. The guy had 22 homers and 22 steals a season ago and the skills remain.

Joe A (Chesapeake)

Drop Martin Perez or just a blimp on the radar?

Eric Karabell
  (11:29 AM)

It's probably a blip. If it were a blimp we'd all be in some trouble.

Bernard (Cincy)

What's going on with Drew Smyly? I thought he'd be lights out all year and it seems like the Tigers aren't as enamored with him as I am...projections for the lefty?

Eric Karabell
  (11:29 AM)

I think the Tigers like him very much. What has changed? A few rainouts and him being skipped because others in the rotation have to keep pitching and can't be used in a relief role? I'm investing.

Taylor (St. Augustine, FL)

Matt Adams gonna start hitting HR's and bat some runs in soon?

Eric Karabell
  (11:30 AM)

I believe so, yes. I'd buy low on several Cardinals hitters, the entire lineup.

Shawn (Detroit)

Should I be worried about Pineda long term?? Drop for Eavoldi, Roark, or Niese?

Eric Karabell
  (11:31 AM)

I would not invest in Pineda. For one, let's see him pitch "clean." Two, he's hurt. The entire situation stinks. I'd prefer all those guys to him.

Grant (Philly)

Dayan Viciedo worth a shot as a Harper replacement, or better going with a more proven OF like Brett Gardner or Dom Brown?

Eric Karabell
  (11:31 AM)

Dom is proven from his one season, yes, but that tells me little. I'd take Gardner if you need speed.

Michael PINE....da (Suspension)

Eric, Based on the recent injury news, am I droppable????

Eric Karabell
  (11:32 AM)

Before he hit the clubhouse the night of the ejection I was off the bandwagon. I mean, the entire world saw it. How could he not know?

Shawn (MO)

Ther's been controversy over Craig's offensived woes are because he's in the OF. Do you think he goes back to first and Adams is either a platoon or traded?

Eric Karabell
  (11:33 AM)

I don't think Craig's offensive woes are related to playing outfield, but these are people and I suppose we're affected by anything. I did theorize on a recent podcast that Adams wasn't safe, as the Cards have Grichuk and Taveras ready. I'd still and always have preferred to invest in Craig than Adams.

Sal (Boston)

I know Ubaldo is pretty bad and you are not a fan. But he was dropped. Drop the newbie Collin McWho for him?

Eric Karabell
  (11:33 AM)

If those are the options, I'd start studying for my football draft. But yeah. You do not want any part of McHugh. Might be a nice guy, but as a pitcher....run.

Jay (Vancouver)

Ubaldo has been downright awful, but against very good offences. Any chance he's been a victim of bad luck or is he this bad?

Eric Karabell
  (11:34 AM)

Until the Orioles move out of the AL East, I don't see this changing. This situation was so obvious.

Brian Dozier [via mobile]

How different am I from Jason Kipnis?

Eric Karabell
  (11:34 AM)

Well, it's a month. We need to see more. But I see what you're getting at.

Mike (Denver)

is Eric Bedard worth picking up in a 75 team mixed league?

Eric Karabell
  (11:35 AM)

Maybe a 80-teamer.

Owen (NYC)

Expectations for Wil Myers and Matt Holliday?

Eric Karabell
  (11:35 AM)

See what we wrote in March. Nothing has changed with them. Nothing.

paul (orlando)

I didn't draft a closer, and now lead my league in saves (thanks to K-Rod and others). Just another reminder: DON'T PAY FOR SAVES.

Eric Karabell
  (11:35 AM)

We keep saying it, but I doubt too many people listen.

Blake (Illinois)

Would you drop Gyroko for Dozier?

Eric Karabell
  (11:36 AM)

Yeah, I would. But each should be owned. How is Dozier not owned in your league? He's 20th on the Player Rater!

Billy (Chicago)

Odds Buxton sees the majors this year?

Eric Karabell
  (11:36 AM)

I think it's small. Perhaps in September.

Bill (State of Hockey)

3 Game 7's Tonight. How can baseball get playoffs like Hockey....IE GREAT!

Eric Karabell
  (11:37 AM)

I can't wait. Just hoping my team wins!

Chris (Wichita)

Madison Bumgarner looks very hittable - just an April thing?

Eric Karabell
  (11:37 AM)

No concerns at all. Think about how much fun it will be when he's back on track.

Mike (NYC)

Chris Davis rest of year numbers?

Eric Karabell
  (11:38 AM)

I don't think he hits 50 homers, but 35 plus remains in play. I'd buy low. Fast.

Joe (SC)

12 team roto dynasty, trade Bumgarner and Jon Gray for Kershaw? Worried about the injury and if Gray and Bum end up better than him this year. Thanks.

Eric Karabell
  (11:39 AM)

You think Gray is going to be better than Kershaw? I don't. I understand investing in a young pitcher, but ... well, I still want Kershaw. The injury does not worry me.

eric, Wisconsin [via mobile]

Who would you rely on the duration of the season h2h points league andrelton simmons or erick aybar

Eric Karabell
  (11:39 AM)

Check out how often Simmons strikes out. It really is amazing. Take him.

Shlomit Rudl (Norwalk, CT)

Why should I start Jesse Chavez and Bartolo Colon tonight?

Eric Karabell
  (11:40 AM)

Um, you want good numbers? But I really doubt the Mets and Phillies play. It's wet here. Chavez I like.

Carmine (NJ)

Is Carl Crawford done?

Eric Karabell
  (11:40 AM)

No. He'll probably play today. Is he ever gonna be a top-20 outfielder again? I doubt it. The Rays knew.

Bob (DC)

Which pitcher holds the most value ROS, Beckett or Bauer?

Eric Karabell
  (11:41 AM)

While somewhat skeptical of Bauer, you have to take his upside.

terry (ohio)

I just got invited to go to lunch with two guys in the office that I do not like. Can you please provide me an excuse not to go? I'm drawing a blank.

Eric Karabell
  (11:42 AM)

Tell them the voices in your head think you should move the lunch up an hour.

John (DC)

What Athletics starter do you have the most faith in ROS: Gray, Kazmir, or Chavez?

Eric Karabell
  (11:42 AM)

Gray is a star. I'd sell, based on the numbers, the other two.

Bill (06010)

Maybe a wekkly segment on where you were right?where you were wrong.Adds accountability perhaps?

Eric Karabell
  (11:43 AM)

I've been doing this a long time. I think the accountability is there and it's not worth the time to go back. But hey, nobody forces you to listen to the advice!

Jon (CT)

Talk me off the ledge about selling Stanton while his value is highest...

Eric Karabell
  (11:44 AM)

I'm just not sure what would be enough to deal him, because he has that Chris Davis look from 2013. I actually believe this is legit. It's a shame in July there will be rampant trade talk. Then again, perhaps that's why he's playing so well, because he wants to be dealt. But everyone is tradable ... it would take a lot, like top-10 lot, for me to move Stanton.

David (Madison WI)

Joakim Soria safe?

Eric Karabell
  (11:45 AM)

I don't think he'll lose the closer role, but is any closer other than maybe 5 guys really safe?

Eric [via mobile]

Time to drop Springer?

Eric Karabell
  (11:46 AM)

It's sad when 24-year-old kids are judged on 50 at-bats. I hope people judge me based on more than a few decisions.

Shawn (Detroit)

Need a roster spot, which 1st baseman would you drop Colabello, Hosmer, or Dunn?

Eric Karabell
  (11:46 AM)

Hosmer does not belong in this post. It's kind of embarrassing that he's there. I'd cut Dunn.

lance (kc)

Over/under on steals for Dee Gordon, Eric Young and Rajai Davis. 50 each?

Eric Karabell
  (11:47 AM)

Yes, I don't see those guys passing 50. Under.

Manny (DC)

When will there be room for Gausman?

Eric Karabell
  (11:47 AM)

Any day now. Really, just takes one night. And I think Gausman will be really good.

Troy (NH)

Hosmer is hitting near .300 people!

Eric Karabell
  (11:48 AM)

Shhhh... don't let the facts get in the way. The narrative is just so much more interesting. (Hey, I don't write the questions. But they make me laugh.)

Pat. Philly [via mobile]

Salty or Mesoraco for ROS

Eric Karabell
  (11:48 AM)

Saltalamacchia. Proven it before and he's doing just fine now.

TJ (Chicago)

Is Billy Hamilton really worth rostering? Good game last night aside, it seems like all you're really getting is the potential for 60-70 steals...which is great...but can you really start a player on a team that only contributes to one category???

Eric Karabell
  (11:48 AM)

We start 30 closers, don't we? Yeah, he's worth rostering.

Dean (CT)

No homers, 1 steal for Pedroia - can he rebound or is he over the hill?

Eric Karabell
  (11:49 AM)

Yeah, Red Sox should just really release the guy and promote the kid from Double-A. Awful.

Sean (WI)

What do you expect from Ganderson ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:49 AM)

About 200 Ks. Maybe 16 homers. Not a fan at all.

Art (MA)

In '07 Dustin Pedroia was hitting .182 with no home runs on this date. He went on to win the rookie of the year.

Eric Karabell
  (11:50 AM)

Stop telling people that! Let them panic! They think one month defines a season...

Chris (Boston)

Where are you ranking Aaron Hill? Slow start so far but before he got hurt last year he was money.

Eric Karabell
  (11:50 AM)

Outside top 10 2B but not by much. On my target list for the position. He'll hit.

phillip (STL)

The tones of some of these questions are amazing. I'm waiting for someone to ask: "Should I trade Miguel Cabrera for Colaballo?"

Eric Karabell
  (11:51 AM)

People have asked. Trust me. Now I really don't like making fun of people and I'm just trying to entertain and inform, but you wouldn't believe what people really think.

Josh, Alabama [via mobile]

Jason Heywards early struggles just a slump? Or is there anything alarming about it slow start?

Eric Karabell
  (11:51 AM)

Is hitting the ball hard, and that plus the BABIP tells me you want to buy low. Quickly.

Phil (Madison)

Should I trade Miguel Cabrera for Colabello?

Eric Karabell
  (11:52 AM)

Wait another week.

Tyler (Columbus)

Thoughts on Kuroda? He's been bad..

Eric Karabell
  (11:52 AM)

His last outing was his lone bad one. I'd invest.

JD (MI)

Position/stats aside. Dee Gordon for Middlebrooks?

Eric Karabell
  (11:53 AM)

Typical steals for power thing. I don't see Gordon falling apart, either. But Middlebrooks is more valuable when he hits. More categories.

Dave (NYC)

Jose Fernandez will be the #1 SP this year, thoughts?

Eric Karabell
  (11:53 AM)

I'm having trouble selecting another option.

Ron Santo (Wrigley)

Dump Pineda for Stroman?

Eric Karabell
  (11:53 AM)

Of course.

dale (lincoln)

Aaron Harang or Madison Bumgarner ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:54 AM)

Tremendous.

Craig (Delaware Water Gap, PA)

Chacin or J. Garcia?

Eric Karabell
  (11:54 AM)

I'd actually invest in Chacin here. I don't think Garcia can stay healthy. And Chacin pitched well.

dale (lincoln)

I need steals really bad and feel comfortable with my team's power. Even though he's ranked higher, is it okay to drop JJ Hardy for Dee Gordon?

Eric Karabell
  (11:55 AM)

Yes, it is ok. You don't have to follow the rankings. They're just a guide. The goal is to win your league and have fun doing so. I don't follow my own rankings half the time. It's about feel.

Nick (Rochester, NY)

What do expect from Mike Minor this season. I say he finshes as the best pitcher on that staff..

Eric Karabell
  (11:56 AM)

I think he could, but Santana looks so good and has a track record as well. Let's agree both are worth it.

Mike (Boston) [via mobile]

What are your thoughts on Morse ROS? Can get Matt Carpenter for him and Headley. Pull the trigger?

Eric Karabell
  (11:56 AM)

Definitely. Carpenter is the one you want there. Morse can hit for power but there's downside, too.

TMC (UT)

What do you feel today EK?

Eric Karabell
  (11:57 AM)

Optimism. A Garden party for the good guys.

AC (Philly) [via mobile]

Morse or KDavis, ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (11:58 AM)

I will stick with Davis longer. Still hitting doubles, driving the ball. It's a good sign.

JJ [via mobile]

Sell high on Teheran while i still have time?

Eric Karabell
  (11:58 AM)

I think he's legit, too. Braves are legit.

Ryan (Orlando)

Venable or McLouth to replace Harper?

Eric Karabell
  (11:59 AM)

I just find it hard to believe Venable can't play effective baseball anymore so I will keep investing in him.

Akeem (Queens)

Rest of their careers: Jason Heyward or Xander Bogaerts?

Eric Karabell
  (11:59 AM)

Nice. I think Bogaerts can be really great. Both will be. But I take the SS.

Joshua (Pitt)

Profar worth stashing?

Eric Karabell
  (11:59 AM)

Yes, he will hit enough for standard formats.

Eric Karabell
  (12:00 PM)

OK, thanks to all for the excellent questions. I really do appreciate everyone for checking the chat out and for continued support of ESPN Fantasy. We couldn't do this without you! So have a great day and best of luck to your teams... and enjoy the baseball and hockey tonight!
