Political candidates won't be the only ones traveling the country this fall in pursuit of a coveted title. And while becoming SportsNation's NFL MVP doesn't come with its own plane or more than a one-year term, it's not a bad gig.

With 16 gridiron primaries slated for Sundays during the next four months, there will be plenty of time for new candidates to emerge as frontrunners, but how does the field shape up at the start of the campaign? We've collected 20 top candidates for MVP honors, but its up to you to separate the contenders from the pretenders.
