Rank 'Em: Best Men's College Basketball Coaches

Where does Pat Summitt rank?

Pat Summitt had more wins than any coach in the history of Div. I basketball long before Thursday's win against Georgia. But there's just something special about a number like 1,000.

And now that Tennessee's coach has broken into four-digit territory with the win against the Bulldogs, it seems like a good time to size up the field of college coaching legends. Where does Summitt rank, SportsNation?

In addition to the sheer volume of wins, Summitt has captured eight national championships, more than anyone but John Wooden. She also led the United States to a gold medal in the 1984 Olympics (and played in two Olympics, for good measure). And the Tennessee native's legacy at the forefront of women's sports rivals her on-court win total.
