Rank 'Em: Greatest Red Sox pitchers

Created: July 25, 2011, 7:56 AM

Where does Tim Wakefield rank?

Who are the greatest pitchers in Red Sox history?

Despite a storied history, the Red Sox don't have a single pitcher in their record books who won as many as 200 games with the team. So perhaps it's only appropriate that knuckleballer Tim Wakefield, who probably isn't headed for Cooperstown, is just six wins away from taking the all-time lead away from Roger Clemens and Cy Young.

From great pitchers who spent considerable time in other uniforms to long-tenured icons short on Hall of Fame credentials, who are the best pitchers in Red Sox history?
