Are Sidney Crosby and the Penguins the favorite to repeat?

Last year's Stanley Cup playoffs were closely fought and memorable on a number of levels. Almost half the series played went to seven games, including the championship matchup between the Detroit Red Wings and the triumphant Pittsburgh Penguins.

This year, teams are itching to get back in the playoffs and prove their mettle. The Penguins still feature the young duo of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, but is this the year that Alex Ovechkin leads his Capitals to victory? Or will teams like the Bruins and Blackhawks finally put it all together? Despite their finals loss, are the Red Wings the team to beat?
