Rank 'Em: NFL MVP Candidates

Is Drew Brees your early MVP favorite?
As usual, several quarterbacks head the list. Drew Brees is making football in New Orleans relevant again, as the Saints have been scoring touchdowns in bunches. Former MVP Peyton Manning is also making his case; despite losing his best receiver and his longtime coach, Manning's play calling and strong arm have the Colts atop the AFC South once again.
Signal-callers aren't the only ones who are having an impact, however. Brett Favre may have had himself an excellent game against the Packers, but it was Jared Allen who shut down Green Bay's offense. Likewise, the Saints have benefited just as much from Darren Sharper's five interceptions as they have from Brees' air attack.
