Where does Andy Roddick rank?

Who are the best American men's tennis players of all time?

Andy Roddick's efforts to win Wimbledon fell short again this year, losing to unseeded Yen-Hsun Lu in a marathon five-set match. But Roddick still has one Grand Slam title, the 2003 U.S. Open, to his credit, something few other American men can claim. And he's spent his career playing in the same era as Roger Federer, arguably the greatest player of all time.

So how do you size up the best American players of all time? Does Roddick deserve a place in the top five? Where do legends like John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors rank? It's up to you, SportsNation.
