Rank 'Em: No. 1 overall pick classes

Created: August 17, 2010, 8:48 AM

Where does a 2004 class that included Eli Manning rank?

Which year produced the best class of No. 1 overall picks in the four major professional sports?

Sam Bradford (Rams), Taylor Hall (Oilers), Bryce Harper (Nationals) and John Wall (Wizards) are the newest No. 1 overall picks in the NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA, respectively. Considering Wall's minutes in summer league play and Bradford's snaps in the Rams' preseason opener represent basically the sum total of the group's pro experience to this point, we'll give them at least a year to prove what the class of 2010 has to offer.

But which year in the new millennium produced the best class of No. 1 overall picks? Scroll over the images of one of the most successful draftees in each class below to see the full list of No. 1 overall picks that year. Then submit your rankings for which year offered the most return on investment.
