Which is the strongest team in the MLB playoffs?

The races have been decided, the bracket has been set and the 2010 MLB playoffs are about to get under way.

In the American League, the Rays outlasted the Yankees for first place in the AL East. That's an issue for New York only when it comes to pride, however, as the Yankees easily made the playoffs as the wild card. They will take on Joe Mauer and the Minnesota Twins, while the Rays will have their hands full with Josh Hamilton and the Texas Rangers.

The crazy race for the last two playoff spots in the National League came down to the wire, with the Giants beating the Padres to avoid a one-game playoff for their postseason lives. The Giants will take on the Braves, while the Cincinnati Reds will attempt to unseat the Philadelphia Phillies, who are the reigning National League champions.
