How do you size up the NFL MVP race?

With the regular season nearing its turn for home, the race for top individual honors is starting to take shape. Quarterbacks are abundant in the lead pack, although Peyton Manning didn't throw a touchdown pass last week and Drew Brees has four interceptions in his last two games. But running backs like Adrian Peterson and Cedric Benson, and even some representatives of the other side of the ball, aren't fading away.
