How far have Cam Ward's Hurricanes fallen?

Who are the best and worst teams in the NHL?

The Hurricanes weren't exactly a Stanley Cup favorite when the season opened, but SportsNation didn't see this collapse coming. Ranked No. 17 by voters in the preseason and a playoff team a season ago, the Hurricanes entered play Monday with only the woeful Maples Leafs between them and the league's worst record.

As October gives way to November, we want your take on which teams are best positioned to challenge the Penguins at the top of the heap, but we also want to know how you see the other end of the standings. Rank all 30 teams below.

Submit your rankings now! You must rank at least FIVE teams for your vote to count.
