Bang for the Buck 119

At $97.84 for an average ticket -- second highest in the league behind Toronto -- you can't blame fans for giving the Jets a 119 in bang for the buck, especially for a team that hasn't made the playoffs in either of its two seasons since relocating to Winnipeg (via Atlanta). The exorbitant prices didn't stop the fans from coming, however. Winnipeg sold out to 100 percent capacity last year.

The Jets made the top half of the standings in only one category, ownership -- a likely result of fans still being happy to even have a team. A couple of bright spots for the Jets: The NHL's realignment will see the team move out of the Eastern Conference and its insane travel demands into the more appropriate West. Also, last season, the team's top five scorers were all in their 20s, and Evander Kane, one of the NHL's top young talents, is signed at a manageable $5.25 million per year through the 2017-18 season. Sounds like a bright -- and expensive -- future.
