BELGRADE, Serbia -- Top-seeded Pablo Andujar of Spain rallied past Filippo Volandri of Italy 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 to reach the quarterfinals of the Serbia Open on Thursday.
"The conditions were not easy, the court was very fast and it was hot," Andujar said.
Benoit Paire of France defeated Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 4-6, 7-5, 7-5.
Lukas Rosol of Czech Republic topped Victor Hanescu from Romania 7-6 (4), 6-3, while the match between third-seeded Jarkko Nieminen from Finland and Croat qualifier Antonio Veic was suspended because of rain.
