BAKU, Azerbaijan -- Second-seeded Alexandra Panova of Russia rallied to defeat Sandra Zaniewska of Poland, 4-6, 7-6 (6), 6-3 in the second round of the Baku Cup on Wednesday.

Third-seeded Mandy Minella of Luxembourg defeated Marta Domachowska of Poland 6-4, 7-5 in the outdoor hard-court event at Baku Tennis Academy.

Fifth-seeded Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia downed Valeria Solovieva of Russia 6-2, 6-3.
