TORONTO -- Top-seeded Novak Djokovic advanced to the Rogers Cup final, beating fellow Serb Janko Tipsarevic 6-4, 6-1 on Saturday night in the rain-delayed tournament.

Djokovic, winner of the hardcourt event in 2007 and 2011, will play Richard Gasquet in the final. The Frenchman, seeded 14th, beat John Isner 7-6 (3), 6-3.
