History: This historic stadium has played host to the 1980 All-Star game and Olympic baseball competition in 1984. In 1991, the stadium hosted the opening ceremonies for the United States Olympic Festival and later that summer showcased the top amateur baseball players from around the world in the second annual International Baseball Association World All-Star Game. The stadium was built by Dodger owner Walter O'Malley in Chavez Ravine, which overlooks downtown Los Angeles. Foodies will delight in the all-you-can-eat ticket deal for the Right Field Pavilion,
which was a first in baseball when it debuted but has since been copied by other teams.

Soak up the scene:
This park opened in 1962 and is now one of the oldest in the Majors, but the setting in Chavez Ravine remains one of the best in baseball. Directions:
From the 101 Freeway: Exit Alvarado, go north, then turn right on Sunset. Go approximately 1 mile and turn left on Elysian Park Avenue. You will run into Dodger Stadium. From the 110 Freeway: Take the Dodger Stadium exit and go straight off the offramp and to the stadium. From the 5 Freeway (South): Exit Stadium Way, then turn left and follow the baseball signs until you reach the stadium off of Academy Road. From the 5 Freeway (North): Exit Stadium Way and turn left on Riverside Drive. Turn left onto Stadium Way and follow the baseball signs until you arrive at the stadium off of Academy Road. From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Take the 105 Freeway (east) to the 110 Freeway (north). Take the Dodger Stadium exit and go straight off the offramp to the stadium. From Burbank Airport: Get on the 5 Freeway (South). Exit Stadium Way, then turn left and follow the baseball signs until you enter the stadium lots off of Academy Road.
