 ESPN's 2-Minute Drill
ESPN's 2-Minute Drill game show will feature fast-paced drama as contestants compete against each other and the clock for cash prizes, ESPN Experiences and a chance to advance in the 2-Minute Drill contestant tournament. The winner of the 26-show tournament can collect between $100,000 and $200,000, plus four ESPN Experiences such as a trip with ESPN's College GameDay crew or MLB Spring Training with Peter Gammons.

The Bassmasters Joins ESPN2 Line-Up
The long-running BASSMASTERS tournament fishing series will be joining the ESPN2 outdoor programming lineup in January 2001. The multi-year agreement with Tulsa-based Winnercomm calls for the production of 18 one-hour programs covering the BASSMASTERS Tournament Trail, including the season-ending BASSMASTER Classic. These programs will be aired on Fridays at 5 p.m. ET. Winnercomm will also produce 13 30-minute programs, which will be aired as part of ESPN2's Sunday morning block of outdoor programming.

ESPN, ESPN2 drop puck on NHL season October 4
ESPN's and ESPN2's extensive coverage -- 124 regular-season telecasts (27 on ESPN and 97 on ESPN2) -- of the 2000-01 National Hockey League season will begin on ESPN with an exclusive telecast of the single opening night game - a rematch of last year's Western Conference Final when the Dallas Stars host the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET.
