Saints down Jets with last-second score
One of the most anticipated games of Week 4 turns into an old school shootout as Drew Brees threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Bush with no time left on the clock to give the Saints a 34-27 win over the Jets.
Brees completed 30 of 42 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns, barely besting New York's rookie QB, Mark Sanchez. Sanchez finished with 290 yards and three scores in the loss.
In the end, though, it was the Saints rushing attack that put them over the top as Pierre Thomas ran for 108 yards and a touchdown, with most of those yards coming in the second half to help put New Orleans into position to win the game with the Brees-to-Bush touchdown pass.
