Giants outlast Cards for OT win

Through five weeks of the season, the Giants looked like the best team in the NFL. But after a loss to the Saints in Week 6, can New York bounce back against the Cardinals? According to the Madden sim, the Giants get back on track, but it takes an extra quarter as the Giants beat Arizona 19-13 in overtime.

The Giants offense really struggled against the Cardinals, as Eli Manning threw two interceptions inside the red zone, and his only touchdown pass of the day came in the early minutes of the first quarter.

In the end, though, it was the Giants D that came up big. After winning the coin flip in OT, Kurt Warner threw a pass that was intercepted and returned 27 yards for a touchdown to give the G-Men their sixth win of the season.
