Pats prevail in AFC East shootout
This game turned into an old-fashioned AFC East shootout as the Dolphins and Patriots traded long bombs and scintillating scores for four straight quarters until the Patriots finally finished off Miami for the 31-28 win.
Tom Brady completed 26/42 passes for 338 yards and three scores for New England, including touchdown passes of 39 (Welker) and 33 yards (Moss).
Meanwhile, Chad Henne continued his on-the-job training under center for Miami, looking awesome at certain times (26-yard touchdown pass placed perfectly in the corner of the end zone) and awful at other points throughout the game (picked off three times total, but twice inside the red zone) as the up-and-down Dolphins drop to a disappointing 3-5 on the season.
