Steelers outlast surging Broncos

The Steelers looked to have this game all wrapped-up, leading 27-10 in the fourth quarter, but that's when the Broncos offense exploded, scoring 17 points in the final five minutes of play to turn Monday night's contest into one of the most furious finishes of the season.

Unfortunately for Bronco fans, the virtual comeback still wasn't enough as Jeff Reed booted a 22-yard field goal to give Pittsburgh the 30-27 win.

Big Ben threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns to help the defending champs win their sixth game of the season. Denver's loss, meanwhile, is the team's second in a row after starting the season with a shocking six-game winning streak.
