Chargers prevail in AFC West battle

After starting the season as everyone's Cinderella, the clock might have finally struck midnight on the Denver Broncos. Losers of three in a row headed into their rivalry game against the Chargers, can Kyle Orton and the Broncos' offense keep pace with Philip Rivers and the Chargers?

According to "Madden," the teams are tied at 10 headed into the fourth quarter, but that's when the Chargers' offense erupts for 14 points thanks to the running of LaDainian Tomlinson and the arm power of Rivers, as the Chargers capture first place in the AFC West thanks to their 24-13 win.

Rivers ended the game throwing for 260 yards and three touchdowns for a Chargers team that once looked completely out of the race but now finds itself at 7-3.
