Sparks sign Candice Wiggins
LOS ANGELES -- The Sparks have signed free-agent guard Candice Wiggins, who has averaged double-figure scoring in four of her six WNBA seasons.
Wiggins played last season with the Tulsa Shock after playing for Minnesota from 2008 to 2012. She averaged 10.1 points a game under then-Lynx coach Gary Kloppenburg, who is currently a Sparks assistant. Wiggins came off the bench to help Minnesota win the 2011 championship.
She joins fellow Stanford alum Nneka Ogwumike on the Sparks' roster.
