Rivalries don't end when you graduate.
Just ask Chantelle Anderson, Michelle Snow, Erlana Larkins and Lindsey Harding.
The four former women's college basketball stars will take to Twitter for espnW.com's Smack Talk during Big Monday's Rivalry Week doubleheader. During Big Monday games on ESPN2 this season, a former player from each team will square off on Twitter throughout the contest, tweeting one another until the final whistle.
Larkins (@TheRealUNC2), a former North Carolina All-American who helped the Indiana Fever win the 2012 WNBA championship, will banter on Twitter with Los Angeles Sparks guard Lindsey Harding (@Lindsey_Harding), the 2007 Naismith national player of the year, when fifth-ranked Duke hosts No. 13 North Carolina at 7 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN2 and WatchESPN). Larkins played at UNC from 2004 to 2008; Harding was at Duke from 2002 to 2007.
In the nightcap, No. 8 Tennessee hosts 18th-ranked Vanderbilt. Snow (@snowtyme), a Washington Mystics center who dunked three times as a Lady Vol, takes on Anderson (@MissChantelle), who was an All-American for the Commodores and ranks second in NCAA history for single-season field goal percentage (72.3 percent, 2001). Anderson was the No. 2 overall draft pick in 2003 but retired in 2009. The Tennessee-Vanderbilt game tips at 9 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN2, WatchESPN).
Monday's Smack Talk will have an international flair; Snow will be tweeting from Moscow and Larkins will be tweeting from Italy. Both are playing overseas during the WNBA offseason.
Be sure to follow all four players on Twitter and look for their tweets with #MondaySmackTalk. Both @ESPN_WomenHoop and @WNBA will retweet portions of their Twitter chat.
