Amber Henson out for rest of season
DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke freshman Amber Henson will miss the rest of the season after surgery on her right knee.
The school says Henson had surgery Friday to stabilize her patella, an injury she has dealt with since high school. Duke will apply for a medical redshirt for Henson, who played eight games.
Henson averaged about two points and two rebounds for the Blue Devils (No. 6 ESPN/USA Today, No. 7 AP). The 6-foot-4 forward is the younger sister of North Carolina junior John Henson.
