Help is on the way: West Virginia Mountaineers

West Virginia doesn't actually lose any quarterbacks off last season's team. But that doesn't mean quarterback isn't a need for the Mountaineers.

West Virginia RB Wendell Smallwood told ESPN he's declaring for the NFL draft. Smallwood led the Big 12 in rushing with 1,519 yards as a junior. Smallwood said the decision was difficult but he feels he will be an "exceptional" NFL player and wants WVU to know this was the best decision for his family. "A lot of NFL teams use backs a lot of different ways, so I feel my skill set helps me, knowing I can catch passes and go out wide while getting tough yards as a rusher."
