Pick the Trick produces 'Ultimate Trick'
| | | | | Tony Hawk sweeps the competition. |
On Sunday, June 27, "Best Trick" turned into the ultimate trick when Tony Hawk (right) made history by landing the first 900 in competition to the amazement of another capacity crowd on Pier 30. Not only were the fans impressed, but fellow skateboarders
Bob Burnquist,
Bucky Lasek, Andy Macdonald and Mathias Ringstrom -- the top skaters from the World Cup Skateboarding Vert rankings -- were so awed by the feat that the competition was declared a "no contest."
Due to this development, there is no competition for ESPN.com users to judge. Instead, we strongly encourage you to check out the sickest trick in skateboarding during the Tuesday, June 29th broadcast at 9 p.m. ET, and join ESPN.com for our live chat crawl from 10:15-11 p.m. ET. So, come chat about Hawk's 900 and you may see your comments on televison.
