Sansalone stands alone
 Peter Line
Peter Line threw a sick switch cork 900 to jump into silver position.
The weather might have knocked the Big Air competition back a day, causing a couple of competitors to drop out because of prior commitments, but it didn't do a thing to chill out the action. Newcomer Kevin Sansalone was huge after biffing his first jump, taking gold in his X Games debut. And Barrett Christy, last year's silver medalist, went so big on her first two jumps that her third didn't matter.
