ESPN.com See, each competitor takes three jumps, but only the two best scores count. So if a guy biffs it on an early jump, he has two more chances to make good. But that also means that someone who stomps his early jumps and builds a lead still is a sitting duck -- an opponent can come from out of nowhere to snatch the gold. Bottom line: It's never over until it's over. Watch the final round on Thursday's X Games broadcast at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN2, then log on and tell us who you think belongs on the medal stand.
